You need to try the oak lawn auto, i tell people try yourself instead of someone telling you because everyone is different. I just know that this place has worked on a couple of my vehicles. I've bought tires from Dax tires. Right next door both places are phenomenal with prices. They're experience. It's phenomenal you don't get hit in prices. What they tell you is what it is. Several places I've been to before have told me a price, and then it jacks up $300 more. Because this is wrong, that's wrong. I will stick with these people as long as they are there with their business, and it's not often that you can find a tire shop right next door to the auto parts. So it's a win-win situation for me. I had my car towed in and had a belt and alternator fixed This was my first time at this repair shop. I spoke with George and he was just as nice and professional in person as over the phone. I have a 2011 BMW and this car has been leaking oil for about 8 years. I have tried getting it fixed several times over the years with no luck. I found Oak Lawn Auto online and decided to take my car there. The best decision I could have made!! John took great care of me. He found the real cause of the oil leak and it was fixed properly this time. He pressured washed all that built up gunk under my car and made it look like new. Just recently moved to Oak Lawn. I took my car in for a minor problem, I was so nervous about what was going to be said or told to me especially being a young woman. I sat in the office and watched the owner and front desk man speak to every customer with so much grace and love! You can tell they build and have great relationships with all of their customers. I was so happy that I was told my car was experiencing a small very minor problem that was fixed right away. They were so honest, and I can tell they build great trust with their customers. The owner came out to introduce himself and made me feel very comfortable. Thank you Oak Lawn Auto. Moving to a new area with 2 little ones and a baby on the way is a little rough, but we are so grateful to know that there are honest owners and trusted people who we can go to with any issues we have with our vehicles just minutes away from our new home. I can’t even begin to express how amazing George and his guys are. Just when you think that the days where a business really cared about their customers are gone you come across a shop like Oak Lawn Auto. Truly the nicest most professional shop I’ve been to. I’ve gone there for AC service on my older Trans Am and they did an amazing job. Where most shops are hesitant when it comes to older cars, George and his team were honest and said let us look at it and take it from there and sure enough they did an amazing job for a more than fair price. Today I stopped by for an ac inspection on my Honda and they treated me like family. If you’re having car troubles and are looking for an honest shop who knows what they’re doing then look no further than Oak Lawn auto. Always upfront and honest about what is needed to get fixed, good people running this place and repairs were done extremely fast, always going to be my go to spot for whenever something comes up with my car. Catalytic Converter & Alternator both fixed here 👍
