Such a treat. This is a high-end grocery store with plenty of local products, fresh produce, hot & cold prepared foods and a bakery. I was inspired walking around. Very clean & spacious. The fall French lentils salad was delicious. The cashier who checked me out was meticulous in ensuring none of my glass items would rattle in the bag - that was a very impressive level of attention to detail! Friendly service all around.
I come here for the deli and coffee! Really delicious food that is better than a lot of restaurants ive been to in Seattle for a fraction of the price! Cant really beat there coffee ! Its like $2.50 for drip which is unheard of in Seattle
Wonderful neighborhood restaurant with a deli, Olive bar, hot sandwiches, salad bar, great bakery, and the usual selection of groceries, well presented. The very best fruits and vegetables.
I purchased a small soup for $4.99 the farmers vegetable soup and it was amazing. I also got a pint of fresh cut berries and some mixed nuts. What a beautiful store such a joy to walk through and explore.
Great experience here, all around great customer service in the store. I've only been to a hand full of Metropolitan Market stores and this one was by far the best
Food and selection is good, but self checkout lady(short) was insanely rude because a water wouldn’t scan and I was trying to get help, and the woman at hot foods with the blue makeup is jaded and just taking her day out on people. Tried to be super nice to both of them but all I got back was annoyed responses and a bad look. 1/10 customer service (I’m a waiter so I know bad service).

I will never shop here again. I was checking out a glass container of strawberry milk, the only thing that sounded to my kid with the flu waiting at home, and I was paying with my EBT, which only had $8 and I didn’t bring any cash since I assumed EBT would cover it: I was charged $5.44 I believe for a tiny glass jar of strawberry milk, gulp…ok……and then I’m told I owe $3 CASH for a “milk container deposit”. As I said, I brought no cash, so I told the cashier, “EBT doesnt cover it?” She said “no, so do you wanna pay in cash instead?” I was humiliated….i am a single mother trying to make ends meet and I paid $5.44 an already outrageous price for a thimble of strawberry milk, and they’re telling me my method of payment isn’t enough I need to fork out CASH, also. I meekly looked down and said “no…just void the transaction.” And she looked confused as she punched some buttons, and then sent me on my way. Well here’s the kicker; that checker LIED and did NOT cancel OR reverse the transaction and I was charged $5.44 for some strawberry milk I NEVER even got/purchased, and that pretty much wiped out the last of my EBT for the month, not to mention disappointed my poor daughter waiting at home. Please BOLDLY DISPLAY that you are required to pay CASH for a “deposit” for milk here, and EBT shoppers shouldn’t bother because their money will just get taken with no compassion.
