I heard about KC Metro Fitness through my brother and sister-in-law and decided to join to stay fit and build more muscle. I really enjoy the convenience of the 24-hour access and how close the gym is to my home. The facility is very clean, the people are welcoming, and the equipment is excellent and easy to use. I would 100% recommend KC Metro Fitness to anyone looking to join a great gym
I just want to come on here and say how lovely my gym is from the staff to the cleanness and to the outstanding equipment that I've gotten to learn about in my weeks of being apart of metro Kc fitness. I love the recognition to get when the staff sees you and even address by my name when seen. Now i won't lie it is lit downtown with the heavy flow of people when i go but i enjoy seeing everybody love the gym as much as i am starting to. I thank metro kc fitness for the guidance and the beautiful environment. I cannot wait to see the difference from the gym and the round of applause i get from it.
Vary nice place. I feel there's no one judging you, I only say this because its been a minute since I been to a gym. And I sometime look like im lost. Looking at machines and wondering how they work/want to work on them. And the host at the front desk is super friendly and remembers my name when I come in. Makes me feel happy and fell like im accomplishing somthing or getting results.
So far so good. They even have a few speciality bars I typically rarely see outside of a powerlifting gym. Parking sucks sometimes especially when the parking garage isn’t working lol
Only been a couple times but got a membership immediately after doing a day pass. Facility is very well kept and has plenty of equipment and options. All the staff I’ve interacted with are very friendly and helpful, especially Gary. And it’s incredibly affordable compared to other gyms I was looking at - and it’s an added plus that you can access it whenever you need to and you can access any of the facilities.
Very small, like paying for hotel gym. The only time I ever saw an employee was when I scheduled a time to pick up my key fob, other than that, you are relying on your fellow gym goers for cleanliness, and it shows. There are cockroaches in the men's bathroom and homeless people are able to force the door open when they want in.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great price! The only drawback is they need a second Smith machine - it is in high demand and you have to be willing to stop in the middle of a set on something else to get it when it is free.
Came to KC for 2 days and found Metro Fitness on Google after a quick search. Chatted with Gary who instantly offered me a good deal for 2 days of day passes, and sold me instantly. Gym has nice equipment and good vibes. Would come back.
I am a new member at metro fitness kc downtown. I had a previous membership at genesis, i toured the gym downtown and was very surprised and pleased with the variety of weight machines and the twenty four access to the gym. I'm very happy to say that my satisfaction has been met and then some. I would highly recommend metro fitness kc to any , and all who has a desire for working out
Met with Gary this afternoon. I had called several weeks ago to learn more about this facility and the benefits of belonging to this 24-hour downtown Kansas City location after perusing the website several times. Gary remained committed to engaging with me to tour the facility. After several unsuccessful games of phone tag I finally toured the gym. It was small but featured well maintained equipment, clean locker room and workout space. If you asked me to sum it up in 2 words, they would be "intimate experience" I have belinged to local, national, and regional gyms. Each one has their own unique attributes, assets, and liabilities. I commend Gary for his tenacity. Following up with me just enough but not to inundate. To my utter amazement the gym had a pkeasant scent where most smell of sweat and must. Beneficial to my specific need this location is easily accessible via various public transit routes! Sorry folks I forgot to take photos
