We stayed in the apartments of the merchants cafe. We had quite the experience. The place itself was beautiful and the bar was great. Great drinks and service. At night we experienced loud glass shattering noises to the extent that we got up to see if someone was in our room. When we went to look the sound stopped and their was nothing there. Upon other things personal belongings had been moved to off places and doors were opened. Great place to visit but 100% haunted. Left my boyfriend praying to leave us alone 🤣

My group came here yesterday and we had such a great time! The bartender was amazing. He was so funny and had great ghost stories, we all just loved him. I would recommend this place especially if you're interested in supernatural occurrences. The strawberry hazy cider was beyond incredible.

It's a pretty cool bar! Pretty relaxed and it really has that sense of history.

This bar is awesome. So much character. The hamburgers and salmon were tasty. The creepy got to me going downstairs to the restroom. Hurried as fast as I could. Feels like ghostly figures staring at me

I was charged $17 mandatory tip included for a well whiskey old fashioned. I watched them make it with half vodka and the bitters bottle they shook over the drink was empty. Atmosphere is a sports bar/10, with the basement being a cold empty room/10. I hope they close and never come back.

Pretty awful food and worse service. It took almost an hour to get mediocre fried bar food. At one point I asked the server when the food would arrive and she answered, "I have no idea." She still had the nerve to tack on the 20% service fee even though several of our 8 person party couldn't order food because they were out of a bunch of menu items, including plain black coffee. Too bad because the building has such incredible history, it could be an awesome place.

Conveniently located and walking distance from pretty much everything. Rooms were clean and had everything that was needed. Would definitely book again!

Went there after our Underground Tour. The bat is pretty old and we loved the atmosphere there. Went had some good cold beer and wings. The wings were just perfect. Would definitely come again.

We were visiting from Colorado Springs for a wedding and we are happy we got to visit the oldest restaurant in Seattle. Food and service were great!
