Was a cool looking place from the outside. The inside has a Klondike gold Rush era feel, but it was really crowded while we were there so hard to soak in. Even though the crowd at the bar was thick, the bartender still saw me and served us - that was a bonus. We shared a table with a friendly person who had just moved to Seattle. The drinks get spendy but it's a major metro, so what are you going to do. The clam chowder was excellent. If they can still get you service when it's that crazy, they're doing something right. It's a recommend and a return trip for us

Great service and atmosphere. Good stronger drinks. We asked if they had any ghost stories and the bartender grabbed us a book of spooky stories and pictures from the Cafe! It's the oldest Cafe in the city of Seattle!

Me and my beautiful girlfriend came from Las Vegas and stopped in to have a drink and had nothing but an amazing time chatting it up with Austin. He was a great server and was nothing but nice to us and we can’t wait to come back!

Austin & Chris where incredibly welcoming from the moment I walked in. Austin helped me choose a drink, when I was unsure of what to order, I really loved it! Chris served up some bomb French fries with his own personal spin on the seasoning that made em real yummy. I had fun just chatting with them and they made my day that was not going so great beforehand 10x better. The atmosphere of the bar itself would've been enough, I could've sat alone and enjoyed my drinks taking it all in-- but the staff really made my experience what it was. Not to mention they have a beautiful piece of preserved Underground Seattle that is a goth girls paradise downstairs from the bar. Thanks for a great night of good service, company, and food/drinks. I'll be back and tell my friends.

Oldest saloon in Seattle! Such a cool, nostalgic spot right in the heart of Pioneer Square. Perfect stop during your underground tour. Happy hour specials and all day $12 boil maker with Jameson and Rainier. Good beer selection of local beers and others. Super great and friendly, fun service. The BLT and burger are terrific. The fries are amazing.

Pretty cool place to hangout. It got a mixture of English pub and Western saloon vibes. The food was decent and the staff was very friendly (the order was mixed up and got a bit delayed, but all was fine).

This place is old but it doesn't smell or get really dirty. Downstairs is kind of cool to check out since it's like being at the bottom of a pirate ship a bunch of old wood and grates. Anywhere in a corner is a cool place to post up because there is mini living rooms. I like the portable heater next to the door and old photos on the walls.

Visiting from out of town, 4 hours away… Austin, the bartender at the time is a strong reason we would come back. BINGO with Miss Monday Mourning was an epic time!

This place was fun to come inside and look at the historic building. The employees were nice and one member of my party ordered a drink. They have craft beers here and he was impressed with the one he got. The bathroom facilities were nice and the atmosphere was fun. I think the price was average. This was fun for us visiting tourists.
