My dad is a diabetic. He has not had glipizide in a month. Everytime we call the clinic, they say that it is a pharmacy issue that the medication isn’t refilled. We go to the pharmacy, and they tell us the prescription was never made and that they cannot get in contact with the doctor. My father NEEDS that medication. They need to stop playing.

I googled some low income dentist’s in Nashville, I was to the point I didn’t know what to do I was in so much pain and I did have to wait a while but around lunch time they told me I could go get some food and come back and I was the next one to be seen, which I was! Very Very friendly staff, the dr seen me and I told him I wanted two teeth pulled and he said off the bat “yes I can do that for you” and for so cheap too!! Most places cost $250 a tooth but with my income I qualify for $80 a tooth which isn’t bad!! He hooked me up with some antibiotics and pain medication and Monday goodbye broken teeth!!! Rescheduled another appointment for a comprehensive appointment in Oct so I’ll be back! Thanks Matthew Walker & Dr. Shinska . Really!

Walk ins will wait 3-4 hours. The receptionist have no clue what they are doing. They are nice but they have no clue what so ever. They're also under staffed. After the 4 hour wait you finally get to see the doc and they are nice and professional. The receptionist crew needs training, they need to call people back, it took me 3 days of non stop calling them to speak to someone, they need knowledge of medical situations and need to know how to handle medical emergencies.

I went there with having no health insurance. After going up to have my teeth issue examined, they said the two of my bottom front teeth couldn't be saved and said i needed to have them taken out. I responded that i was told by 2 other places they could be saved with root canals to which they tried convincing me they couldn't. I asked them what did they expect me to do...be toothless and they said no, get dentures. I tols them no thank you, I'll get a second opinion and they offered to have a colleague of theirs come in and give "a second opinion"...they must have thought i had "stupid" written on my forehead. I told them, why do you think that would be a second opinion...they work with you so they will side with you. I left there and went to a third place that not only thanked me foe not allowing them to ruin it by having them removed, this new place i went to said they shouldn't be taken out and they did 2 root canals on them saving my teeth. This place just wants to rip you off and make it so you have to pay out of pocket and keep going back with problems they are creating. I didn't want to post a review but i felt obligated to help save anyone else from the issue that i went through. Get as many opinions as you need to, don't allow their "you need them taken out" to be the final determination. Worse case scenerio other businesses may agree but at leqst you did your due diligence to possibly save your teeth. The general idea is the same foe medical issues. Never rely solely on one businesses opinion as a lot of places are just out for money and don't really care about your health. This is also why i am attending college for the health field, so i can be that one positive hope and difference in someones life by putting their health first by givng the truth. #SecondOpinionMakesTheDifference

I was a walk in for Dental. Get there early. You cant make an appointment with them until you do a walk in first. After a wait, they get you in between the appointments. You then get to set appointments after the "Due process" The staff is friendly, they help you with understanding your insurance or self pay. I am thankful they are here for us. I only visited the Dental section I will be going back March. Yay! I got an appointment.

I'm assuming they are short staffed. I understand this location caters to a low income / poverty community, and I'm forever grateful for that. I also know, they cater to the working class, as well. So, I was seen at the Dentist there. I provided my insurance information upon arrival, which was verified, prior to me entering the Dentist Office. It was then verified a second time. I was advised, of the insurance portion and my portion, which I paid in full at that moment, as they wouldn't see me until, I did so. After my procedure, I wasn't provided aftercare information for caring my incision. I called literally between 50-100 x's, and I received no answer, nor a call back from any of the two voicemails still to this day which is 2.5 weeks later. I work during the day, so I am not able to just go there. So, I had to have someone to literally go there to get the information. I thought, that was it. So, I received a bill in the mail two weeks after the procedure, and my insurance wasn't applied, and now, they are advising, I have to pay $258 now. So I proceed to call them to get this straightened out, but no one answered either number the office or billing number. In fact, it picks up and hangs up on you each time. I called my insurance provider, and they attempted to call, as well, and they received the same results.This is a staple in my community, and I hate that this is the service that is serviced. So, now I have to take off work, for something that could've been handle over the phone very easy. I will not be returning.

Had an appointment this past Saturday. Dr. Visit was OK but couldn't get blood pressure after 4 tries. Never got the report on blood pressure. Receptionist put down I make $5000 a month which was completely wrong. She didn't even check me out at all. I went in there for laryngitis. They sent my prescription to Walmart but had 2 different directions on the cough medicine which I really needed. Walmart Pharmacy tried calling them 4 times with phone at busy signal all day. They faxed my prescription to Mathew Walker at 10:45am the same day with no response. I called and left a message to fill it. Tried calling today and kept getting hung up on so I still don't have my medicine. I realize this place is busy but why in the world would you do a chest ex ray 2 weeks later? I even asked nurse practitioner to look at a knot on back of my neck and wouldn't even touch it and said it was a mole. It's not mole. Maybe it's because I didn't have insurance I don't know but I canceled all my appointments for 2 weeks away because I feel like if someone was really bad sick and they paid to see doctor and you can't even get your prescription filled why even go. Go to the emergency room.

MATTHEW WALKER COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH CENTER IS A GREAT PLACE TO GO TO AND I SAY THAT BECAUSE I HAVE THE BEST DOCTOR IN THE WORLD DOCTOR KEVIN DENNIS HE'S A GREAT LISTENER UNDERSTANDING LOVING CARING AND RESPECTFUL I WILL CONTINUE TO GO TO MATTHEW WALKER. WHEN I AM SICK HE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT MEDICATION TO GIVE ME WITH NO PROBLEM AND IT HELPS I WOULDN'T CHANGE MY DOCTOR FOR NO OTHER DOCTOR AND BY ME SAYING THAT I FINALLY FOUND THE RIGHT DOCTOR FOR ME AND FOR MY HEALTH ISSUES SO WITH THAT BEING SAID I GIVE HIM FIVE THUMBS UP NOT ONLY HIM BUT THE OTHER EMPLOYEES AS WELL.

Staff so professional, yet personable. Everyone is kind and knowledgeable. Dr. T Logan and Dr. Mays are leading a group of professionals with bright futures! Thanks for everything, team!
