Thank you thank you thank you Jess!! Come if you want honest, detailed information about the pieces you’re having tailored. My partner brought in a suit that he thrifted and I brought in a pair of pants. The suit was already beautiful, but she pointed out 4 areas where he might want tailoring. Instead of forcing us to have all of it done, she empowered us with the information we needed to make styling decisions on our own. Felt so taken care of here!!! Everyone come! Amazing experience! Brought my Shih Tzu’s winter jacket in to get tailored and they did a fantastic job on it! The work they did on it was absolutely amazing! Will 100% come back if I have anymore tailoring needs. My doggy cholo is now very happy with his jacket and can’t wait to use it for the next winter season 🩷

I had the best experience with Jessi! This is what she and her team were able to do: 1. Trouser specialists for pants/skirts and even for difficult fabrics organza silk/leather 2. Most tailors will reject or overcharge for tucking in 4.5” at the waist on skirts, pants, shorts, but LNC does it for you as an exception the first time and the proper way by removing the waistband fully and taking apart both left and right seam of the pant by hand plus every dart possible to evenly spread out the amount that needs to get removed before putting back on the waistband. They do tell you that the next time you bring in bottoms to be tucked in at the waist, the max is 2.5” 3. They finished my entire order (7-8 items) 1 week early just so I could wear all my new clothes for Thanksgiving without me asking. It took 1 tailor 2.5 days for all garments. 4. They added a clasp I did not even know I was missing without charging me extra

My boyfriend ripped his zipper and this owner Jess was amazing she was honest about a solution and helped us get back to our vacation! 10/10 customer service and professionalism. Highly recommend.

I came with some questions about bathing suit alterations which is hard to find in the city, and Jess really broke down the process and I think was extremely kind and helpful! I’ll definitely be back for more alterations.

Jess, the owner, is in sync with her interns. She trains her interns as she would explain a process to a customer. Jess took extra time to show me how turning a maxi long dress into a 2 piece looks better if the skirt is longer (leave room for a waistband) and the floral column pattern is not interrupted. By the same token, they explained why using a zipper on the new skirt is better for the floral column pattern preservation than an elastic band. They really care about preserving the integrity of design and taken on about just every project—whether big or small!

I actually saw Jess help a girl find a vintage LaCoste dress size Small on Poshmark for $25 so the girl would not have to spend $225 tailoring her size Large. I was confused at first as to why Jess was “refusing” the job, but then I realized Jess is an ethical business owner, passionate designer, and extremely knowledgeable tailor. Jess knew if you tuck in the shoulders of the size large by 2 inches on each side (total 4 inches), you would have to recarve the armholes, and if you recarve the armholes by that much, you are also tucking in at the waist which would just change the entire design. Jess cares about preserving the integrity of design especially of vintage pieces. Jess can quote a job in 15-30 seconds and make $225, but she rather spend 5-10 minutes helping you find/buy the right size online so you spend $25 and she makes $0. Jess has so many customers (who are willing to wait in line), but it’s refreshing to see her prioritize the craft and customer care. I am coming back with more pieces. I simply wanted to verify the rave reviews of this hidden gem (literally is on the second floor in the back) and stopped by to ask some questions and I even got offered Lindt chocolates for Easter.”

Beyond happy with my experience! Jess (third generation owner & tailor) and Alice (wedding gown specialist) went above and beyond to make my second wedding look a dream come true. They worked tirelessly with me to help me achieve my vision across 3 separate fittings. My dress was more complicated than I realized when I purchased. Jess, who does all of her jobs by hand, strung on and removed the glass beading strands on my dress one by one. I gave Jess and Alice a much more cumbersome task than I was expecting and they were always so happy to accommodate and never once complained. I really appreciate all that they did for me. The dress was a major moment and it wouldn’t have been possible without them!

I have had several items, all dresses, altered by Jess and have been delighted with the quality of her work and reasonable prices. She is accommodating, understands what you need and want, takes the time to talk it through, and has a fantastic assistant who who works side-by-side with her. 5+++
