ZERO stars. I regret every minute I spent wasting trying to get a hold of this company and trying to tie up loose ends. The communication is horrible. I signed my loan contract in January. They promised that they would have them done by summer and also told me that my solar payment would replace my energy bill every month (That is a lie) Now it is the end of August and it’s still not up and running. And on top of that I’m stuck paying the solar payment of $138 and my electric bill that is $486 just for this month!! I didn’t budget for that and I was also told I’d be credited for all of the inconvenience and lack of communication. Also, Before installation of my non working panels, I made it VERY clear that they cannot put ladders on top of my gutter helmet- So now my $8000 gutter helmet Is ruined and it’s affecting my foundation. they told me that they would take care of the damages to my gutters, but I can’t get in contact with anybody anymore. Humm… SCAMMMMMMMMM!!!
The install was very prompt, swift (and painless, as in no terrible, loud music blaring throughout ), and they cleaned up perfectly after the work was finished. Zach took his time to explain everything and made sure all questions were answered, plus he put up very patiently with our dogs’ supervising his work!

Zero stars. Marvin (sales rep) is no longer availabe for communication. I have left VM for anyone to call me back and all I want to know is how to monitor or work the solar usage on my panels and how to get the rebates promised to me at signing. Otherwise, decent project but this appears to be a major scam on the rebate side. I'm still researching the proper channels but my review is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Zero stars, only because I can't go lower than that. We have been lied to since the very start of this scam. Almost 90 days in and I still have solar panels sitting in my driveway blocking me from parking there. They said they had permits and didn't. The city stopped by and halted the installation on the first day. That was August 1st. See timeline of "events" in the picture. Tried to get this resolved multiple times and I guess they think if they avoid me, it will go away. It will not. Next is getting the law involved. I don't want this service now and nobody will get in touch with us about the panels sitting on the side of my house that are blocking my driveway. Why won't Google let me leave zero or less stars? One star is way too many!
1 Star – Lifetime Solar Today, a young salesman from Lifetime Solar knocked on my front door trying to pitch me solar panels. Let me paint the full picture here: he knocked directly on a door that has a large, impossible-to-miss NO SOLICITING sign—bold lettering, eye-level, right in front of his face. Not off to the side, not small or faded—right on the door he chose to knock on. That alone tells me this company either doesn’t train their sales reps properly, or worse, encourages them to ignore homeowners’ clearly posted requests. Either scenario is unacceptable. But it gets better. I already have solar panels installed—they’re not hidden, they’re mounted on the roof in full view from the street. So not only did this guy ignore a clear “do not disturb” sign, but he also failed to do even the most basic homework about the homes he’s targeting. At that point, you’re not selling—you’re just bothering people. This interaction tells me a lot about Lifetime Solar’s professionalism—or lack thereof. If your door-to-door reps can’t read or respect signage and can’t be bothered to notice a roof full of solar panels before launching into a pitch, how am I supposed to trust your company with something as important as my energy system? Hard no. If this is how Lifetime Solar operates at the front door, I can only imagine what the customer service and installation experience would be like. Zero stars if I could.
