Lifetime Solar

Started processing in March everything went ok, done all my part and here's July still no solar. Very poor communication and they want to blame other people to why nothings happening. And to talk to anyone I call reapeadly 3 or 4 times I n a row before anyone answer's. Elevate solar is on the same level.

Updating my stars to 3. Our solar panels are not working, just took a little bit time. It’s working well so far… If I can rate this company 0, I will give them 0. If you are looking for a solar panel installer, please stay away from this company. First, the agent came into our house telling us that they will only use our roof for the panels and we will not pay anything. Our electric bill will be covered by the panels and the excess electricity will go to the grid. The next day, a different sale’s agent named Mac went to our house prepared with a contract. Since we wanted a solar panel because we love our ENVIRONMENT, we signed the contract. Now they installed the panel in September. Someone from this company told me to answer yes to the lender’s question if the panel has been installed. Little did I know that it will be the start of lender’s contract. I got an email from Evergy saying that the connection was rejected. So, someone from Lifetime cane in our house again and got it fixed. Then, I got the same email from Evergy that the same problem wasn’t resolved. Now, we are paying the lender plus our monthly Evergy bill. The panels are still not working. I’m calling the office for update but it goes to the voicemail. So please, if you want to avoid stress getting your solar panels, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

This is a scam. The sales person completely lied about the efficiency and credits we would be issued on our evergy account. Only to get my first electric bill after the install with NO CHANGES. Called evergy and they essentially let me know that I was grossly misinformed on what the panels could provide and that there are no credits on my account. Will be contacting BBB, filing formal complaints, and calling the attorney general. Can’t even reach them with a call to discuss this issue another clear sign this is a SCAM. Please do not let these sales people talk you into their services as they will lie straight to your face about the benefits.

FINAL UPDATE: As I previously stated - I would change my review to three stars once they fixed my yard, which they have done. UPDATE: After my initial post, Lifetime Solar, reached out to me and although I did not have a good experience trying to resolve my issues with Tony; Lee reached out to me along with Nate and they reimbursed me for me, very quickly, for the money I was out for finance charges and took care of my monitoring as well. Thus I am changing my review to two (2) stars; they are still working on getting my yard fixed. I am hoping they will get that resolved and I can up this to three (3) stars. I will say that Lee really changed my opinion of their operation, he was quick to respond and empathetic of my problem in trying to resolve them. I am just hoping they will follow through with everything. Avoid at all cost, the hassle is not worth it. I have tried everything I can do be happy with their service, but every time they either come up short or just completely do not do what they say they are going to do. My panels were supposed to be installed last year, however, due to many excuses it was not "installed" until March of 2019. I put installed in quotations, because they came out in early March and only got the panels mounted and the electric lines ran. They failed to due their due diligence by getting the necessary permits, blamed it on the county, which delayed the panels going active until July. I had to send them several communications, because of my concern for KCP&L rebate deadlines. For four (4) months they gave me all kinds of excuses, and told me an untold amount of times that my system would be up and running the next week. Tony does not know his butt from his elbow! And then, they have they have the audacity to request the full funds from the finance company in March, which in turn made me pay money on a solar system that was non-functional for 4 months. They did pay my electric bill, but ignored my request to reimburse me for the (~$200) finance fees. On top of this, I missed out on early production of the solar panels, that would offset my electrical for the winter. I had other issues with my installation and they have little appreciation to helping solve problems. For instance, when they installed the panels, they ruined parts of my yard. They did not come out to attempt to solve the issue until August, however, they did a terrible job of fixing my yard. I am going to have to have professionals out to fix it and Lifetime could care less about my issues. I would like to tell you to do x or y with them, by why bother, just find someone else, because you should find a business that values your time and money. My biggest concern now is, what am I going to do when I have a serious issue with the panels. Thank you! Travis

Zack and his team did a great job on the installation of my system! They were on time, efficient, and very respectful!

Installed panels in March. It is now mid July and we still can not use our system. Most horrible communication and follow up. Avoid this company! Ive actually have called them from different phone numbers for them to answer my calls !

These guys are great. Polite, efficient, professional, and they truly know what they are doing. Left the site cleaned up. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. 5 STARS all the way!

Solid install, good communication with operations, and permissioned to operate net metered Solar within 3.5 months of signup.

After evergy raised my rates again I reached out to lifetime solar and It was an amazing decision. Corey was able to get me installed with no money out of pocket and was very helpful with my million questions! highly recommended

The installers, Brilyn and Zack are very informative and helpful. They are an asset to Lifetime Solar. It’s refreshing to be made to feel so important to a company and reassured of ANY further assistance necessary is no problem whatsoever.
