Lifetime Solar

Lifetime Solar completed the work of adding solar to the house roof. I am pleased with the amount of power the solar has been able to deliver. The one part that I am not satisfied with is being able to monitor the solar power and the exchange with Evergy. That seems like a small thing but it adds to my anxiety because I don’t know why the system is functioning.

I bought 2 systems from Daybreak Solar in October 2022. Lifetime Solar picked up the contract for the install of the systems. Lifetime Solar kept us informed of the status of permits, and once that phase was complete delivery and install was professionally done on both systems. Daybreak Solar dropped the ball on my second system for a connection permit and that delayed activation for about 30 days. Both systems ran for 7 months with no issues. I had a solar inverter go out. Called Daybreak Solar and still have not heard back from them yet. Contacted Lifetime Solar and they stepped in and sent an electrician out to troubleshoot and help me get a warranty replacement. You don’t find many companies willing to step in and help like this. Highly recommend them.

Lifetime solar did an amazing job. They were very informative. They walked us through our system and explained things in a way that we understood and they went above and beyond to clean up.

I had a representative come to my home. And give us the entire spew about the product , company , financing, etc… we received all the plans and placard. The installers show up and install our panels. In a completely different location on our roof that we had agreed on. And when I attempted endlessly to contact the representative that came to our home with no response at all!!! We contacted Lifetime Solar Panels with no response. Finally got in touch with someone and they wanted pictures we sent pictures still waiting 3 weeks after and nothing. It has been since October and still nothing. I would definitely never recommend them to anyone. And furthermore I still have the loan hounding me .

I previously left a 1 star review due to some poor communication from one employee who has since left the company. Ryan and Drew reached out to me to ensure I was taken care of and provided great customer service. Our Lifetime Solar panels are up and running and have been a great decision for our home.

The process went smoothly, or so I thought, all the way until after the installation of the solar panels on my roof. When they left that day, they told me that my electric company needs to come out and switch my box on the side of my house to a solar one and that they would contact me but it could take a few weeks. After that, the solar panels will be up and running. I waited a few weeks, and no one contacted me. So I called my electric company, and it turns out I was lied to back when I was told that I was approved by my electric company for Solar and all the proper documentation was submitted and approved. My electric company told me they have not been contacted by anyone and I have not been approved for anything. This has caused a complete headache for myself and my electric company because then we were trying to chase down someone to figure what happened and everyone we called kept trying to say "Oh someone will call you back about this" and then no one would ever call us back. Thank goodness I had someone at my electric company really looking out for me and they finally got a hold of someone who he is now working with to retroactively get the proper documentation to get me approved, but I'm extremely pissed off that I was told I was approved and all the documentation was done because that is the only reason I gave the green light for them to do the installation. Do not use this company, they are liars and terrible. Also they have had the nerve to email me at least 10 times asking me to give them a review and I emailed the Co-Founder, Keaton, back multiple times asking for help sorting this mess out and even called and texted him, all of which he ignored. So Keaton, here's your stinking review. Horrible company and horrible customer service. *EDIT: I came here and changed it from one star to 3 stars because as soon as I posted this review, I was contacted by someone in the company named Ryan and he immediately started working to resolve the issues that occurred on my project. He contacted my electric company and made sure they had the proper documents after the fact and got the inspection scheduled and has kept things moving forward. As of today, 07/14/25, I have gotten the inspection and am still waiting to hear back from my electric company or from Ryan on when we can turn the system on and switch to solar power. But I do appreciate Ryan's hard work and persistence to keep my project moving forward and fix the mistakes that occurred. The rep that has been working with me to fix things as well, Johnathan, has been very friendly and helpful too. **EDIT: I Changed it down to 2 stars because the panels did not pass the electric company inspection and they had to come back out and completely change the layout on my roof, which meant there were suddenly anchors drilled and sticking out of my roof from where the panels were originally installed, and they had to have a roofing company come fix my roof. I got horrible communication about this process and it took another month to even just get my roof fixed, and the roofing company showed up completely unannounced one day and just started working away into the late evening even though I requested to schedule an appt many times. The roofing company told me all their communication was through Ryan, which means it was on Lifetime Solar to communicate with me and they, again, failed to. ***Edit once again 02/19/26: I am changing it from 2 stars to 3 stars now because I was reached out to by someone named Tony at Lifetime Solar checking in on my solar panels and system and myself. He and Drew helped me get set up on the app that monitors the panels that I want never set up with the first time so I think I'm *finally* finished with this whole process. Tony said they are working hard to improve their operations department and he was very helpful, timely, and consistent with his communication so I do believe this is true. I can't give more than 3 stars due to overall experience but hopefully someone else can have a better one.

Lifetime Solar is a great company to work with. There were a few hiccups within the last year, however were resolved after placing a call. They have a great new team of sales reps willing to work with you and answer any questions you may have.

System was hooked to grid 190 days ago, it has worked for 80 of those! A whopping $43 savings total. It has currently been out of service for 2 months. Installed wiring underground from detached shop, nicked the wire while burying it and after a rain it was out for a month. Replaced the wire and same thing happened. Cut 2 irrigation lines that time. Landscaping and yard tore up and other projects put on hold waiting for this to be fixed. No response or "we are trying to fit you in the schedule" for weeks at a time.

The team at Lifetime took great care of us, From Jose our sales rep explaining the process, to Ryan being patient with waiting for us to schedule due to getting our new roof. The installation guys were on time and did a great job and took good care of our property. Thanks again.

I recently had Lifetime Solar install solar panels at my home. The sales process was easy however I felt the system evaluation was off so I did my own analysis getting lower return on investment than what they were quoting so I would urge anyone looking into to solar to do their own analysis, non the less we decided to proceed forward. While there was an unfortunate accident that resulted in damage to the ceiling, the team handled it professionally and repaired the damage at no additional cost to me. The solar panels are still not operational as we are currently waiting for the city inspection and then Evergy's approval. Communication has been a bit sluggish at times, but the installation team was respectful, on time, cleaned up thoroughly, and went above and beyond. I will update my review once the system is fully operational. I appreciate their dedication to making things right. I would recommend Lifetime Solar. UPDATE: We are fully operational just 32 days after the panels were installed!! I would do this process all over again. So far early in the morning our system is already overproducing on power so we are getting credits on our energy bill! Very impressed with the performance. I previously gave 4 stars but after seeing performance so far I have updated to 5 star. I will come back after a year to update again with savings we are seeing. UPDATE 7/22: I previously gave 5 stars but after repeated attempts to get required documents needed for taxes but no responses back I have updated to 4 star. Positive note is the system is operating at or better than expected and has resulted in no bills so far from Evergy! UPDATE 7/30: Finally had someone reach out regarding my questions about required documents needed for taxes. No change in rating. Positive note is the system is still operating at or better than expected!
