Had solar panels installed in October with consistent contact with Ryan Bachman prior to installation, but immediately after installation and discussion of rebates then contact feel completely off and we’ve been ghosted ever since. I cannot get in contact with anyone from Lifetime Solar, Ryan, or anybody regarding the project and it still hasn’t had a box installed so it still isn’t turned on. Everything about this job now seems very scammy and I’m not confident the contract will be fulfilled on their end. If anyone is approached by a sales rep working with this company, please note that there are several reviews on Google and Yelp stating the same and similar issues and steer clear of this company!! There’s no doubt in my mind that any warranty or insurance they supposedly provide isn’t what they say considering we can’t even get a single person so answer a phone call or call back!
We had our solar system installed by Lifetime Solar in June 2025, and months later, it’s still not operational. In September, we learned that the installation was not completed according to the approved design plans, and no permit was ever posted or obtained, which is a serious legal and contractual issue. Since then, we’ve made multiple attempts to contact the company by phone and text to get this resolved — no one responds. We’ve been more than patient, but the lack of professionalism and accountability is unacceptable. We’ve now had to formally demand that Lifetime Solar correct the installation, secure the required permits and approvals, and make the system fully functional within 15 days, or we will pursue legal remedies including contract cancellation and damages. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience. Do not recommend unless you want to deal with unfinished work, missing permits, and zero customer support.
Guys showed up exactly when they said they would, worked quickly, and got everything set up in a single day. They were polite and friendly while explaining everything they were going to do before they did it.
I went with Lifetime back in 2021/2022. From the get go the process was a nightmare. Fast forward to this year -- had to get a new roof. Lifetime was nonresponsive, then when they did respond they lied. They said they had a 15 year warranty on workmanship (that's the install). That is not correct,as it is only a 5 year warranty on workmanship per the paperwork they provided me. Plus, they were extremely high. The roofing company just so happened to have a solar side of their business. So they were able to remove the system from the roof,and extend the workmanship warranty by 2 years. The warranty on the panels is 25 years. Anyway, aside from that -- I have made numerous attempts to get a hold of both Ryan and Jonathan (who never answer or contact me back) to get my system checked as it hasn't produced the power that it once did for over 18 months (which was before the new roof install). If you want a company that will respond to you, respect you, and listen to you -- then I highly recommend that you do not go with Lifetime Solar. I do not like to give bad reviews -- as I know there are things that do just happen. However, ignoring calls, requests, and absolutely no communication is just unsatisfactory and asinine.
Installation crew was punctual knowledgeable and thorough performing efficient solar setup while answering all questions and offering helpful maintenance advice afterward.
