Genesee Energy

First time using Genesee Energy for our propane fill-up (south of Olympia) on August 9th 2021. They were 45 cents cheaper per gallon than the others so saved $160 (350 gals, two tanks). Courteous and professional when I called for a price quote. She inquired if I was a senior or military for an additional 7 cent discount. Delivery and billing all handled very promptly and professionally.

If I could give a zero I would. They could not offer me a time frame of when they could fill my tank up. My concern is with the 4 dogs I have and them being in the yard. The lady who answered the phone was friendly but not very informed so I was transferred to the "Office Manager", before I was able to talk he said they don't offer windows they will get there when they get there and to chain my dogs up. After I expressed how cruel that would be to leave a dog chained up for 12 hours he recommended that I shoot them. I wouldn't waste your time with these people.

Have dealt with Genesee Fuel for decades. They always give me the best quotes, quick and professional service. You can be confidant their bid is their lowest possible bid. You can also be assured their workmanship is of the highest quality.

We started with Genessee in 2016, when we bought our home. (continued using the same service as prior home owner) Right off the bat, we didn't really like how they handled billing - they would send us notices that we were behind when we had signed up for the automatic service. (Our card was on file) Annoying, but they figured it out. THEN, they started to miss delivery of oil without notifying us so we only found out when it was freezing in the house. First time was in Dec 2018, and just 4 months later, they forgot again. We ended service after the second lapse.

I used Genesee Energy for propane delivery. After shopping around, I found them to have the best price on propane consistently and they were always quickly able to get a delivery to me when I needed it. Even when there was snow on the ground. I ended up having to close my account because I moved and no longer needed propane...but I would highly recommend Genesee.

This business supplies our propane gas to heat our home, water, and provide fuel for our cooktop. Propane is expensive and to get it in bulk, you need to contract with a supplier to bring it to you in a truck with a pressurized tank on the back. We were contracted with a different supplier for over 20 years and they arbitrarily increased our per gallon price by over $1.40! I shopped around and found Genesee Energy. Their price for propane was much less than the place we had been using and their records showed their price had not increased for more than a year. We changed our supplier to Genesee and we have not been happier! They're great! Easy to work with, a pleasure on the phone and in person, a very professional business indeed! I highly recommend Genesee for your propane needs!

Genesee consistently offers competitive rates while on contract unlike other providers in the Northwest. Switching to Genesee has saved me almost almost 50% on my propane costs. Don't get fooled by others "introductory" rates. Genesee always delivers on time and their drivers are super nice (even to my barking dog).

I have a finicky furnace and Genesee Energy has always been at my house the same day that I called them. My last technician named Justin was an extremely attentive to description of the problem and went way above the level of service that would be normally acceptable. Justin's demeanor and genuine interest in diagnosing my problem was admirable. Hey took his time to make sure I felt satisfied with the service. Well done Justin.

Initially they wanted to charge me $600+tax, to change the oil furnace burner head cone, small part that you can buy from $7 to $24. The rest was labor(?) and tune up (they just changed a $5 oil filter). Finally after arguing they came down to $463. Don't even think about calling them for service. I finished the oil delivery contract with them after this awful experience.
