I've mainly used Genesee for an annual refill on my oil tank for my home heating. I often forget to check the oil level, so when I call for the refill it's usually when the oil runs low and my house is coooold!! They've always come out within a couple days of calling, and leave a receipt at the front door. I have no reason to complain. They answer their phone, and are always very professional. I believe I've had them do furnace maintenance every couple of years as well.
I recently moved into a new house that uses oil heating with Genesee. Once the weather started cooling off and I contacted them about filling the tank they were incredibly helpful and quick to respond and get it done. The representative I spoke with also helped me with setting up a regular maintenance and payment plan that works out perfectly. I highly recommend.
Our family has used Genesee for over a decade. Their service technicians are knowledgeable, prompt, and tidy. The oil deliveries always arrive on time (even during bad weather); and finally, the office staff are always polite and willing to find solutions to any issue that may arise. I highly recommend Genesee Energy!
The experienced service men are knowledgeable and courteous. When I call I get wonderful customer service from friendly people. They are the best. That’s why I have been with them for so long.
We have a service contract with them. Our furnace is 3 yrs old and was not installed by them. It was off the one yr warranty of the installing company. We have had numerous leak problems resulting in oil which has gone under the bulkhead and makes heated air from our ducts very smelly. None of that is due to Genesee. They have been out several times to help us solve the problems. When I call, they are here either the same day or the next day. Their technicians are top notch. This furnace is the typical Monday morning lemon. I recommend them to anybody considering a new furnace or a service contract. They have a genuine customer service ethic which shows in their actions. I give them an A.
We have been purchasing propane through Genesee Energy for the last 1.5 years, and every time they are great. We are not scheduled for repeat deliveries, and instead call around for the best price. Genesse always has the lowest price, and despite not refilling every set number of months, they checked the integrity of our propane system and ensured we had no leaks. They are quick to answer and return phone calls, show up soon after we request a refill, the delivery person is pleasant and professional. All in all, I give my full recommendation.

My oil furnace is 50 years old. Had not been serviced by technician for years. Dan brought all of his 25+ years of experience with him and now furnace runs at 83 precent efficiency. I highly reccommend Genesee. Very resonable price and GREAT service!
