The food service was very quick and all the staff were all very nice, personable, and funny. The lamb in my opinion was amazing. Shout out to Karen and trey they both did amazing jobs and made the whole table feel very welcome, along with the rest of the staff. Probably some of the best service I've gotten at a restaurant.

Had the Wagyu Ribeye and it was excellent. Only downside is now my daughter says I am only allowed to give her Wagyu steak. I've never understood why people say steak "melts in your mouth" but now I understand. It was so tender. I did put in there that I waited an hour+ for a table but that is because it was Valentines Day so that wasn't their fault. They were slammed with 50-100 people, and they were organized and were getting through people fast. I've been here in the past and usually get a table within 5 minutes as a walk in.

Dwayne was outstanding from start to finish. Not only was he attentive and genuinely present throughout our visit, but he also brought such a great sense of humor and warmth to the experience. His personable nature made it easy to relax and enjoy ourselves, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday, and his energy and thoughtful service truly added something special to the occasion—it felt more like a memorable experience than just a night out. We left feeling well taken care of and in great spirits. We’ll absolutely be coming back and will be sure to request his section again.

We had an amazing time, we got there a little early and they had no problem seating us right away. It was our first time and they were all so nice explaining how everything works. Isaac and Alisa were both wonderful servers. We will definitely be going back.

I think this is my new favorite place ever. I think this is Heaven on earth, the best food in the whole world and great atmosphere as well. Tonight we celebrated our 3 year marriage anniversary and I’m so glad we made our reservation here. It’s definitely worth getting the indulgence buffet option, especially for your first time. It’s such a great experience. Huge diversity of food, and I also appreciate the diversity of people in the restaurant. There were all ages, ethnicities, styles of people- I love it. We got a street parking spot right outside, paid $7 for 2 hrs, and then $225 + tip for dinner. After we left we smoked a cigarette and walked down the street because it was beautiful downtown. I love when there’s pretty lights wrapped around the trees. But anyways, yes this place is a must! We moved here from Texas almost a year ago and this is by far the best food we’ve had here, and maybe even anywhere. Carly was an amazing server and did a wonderful job not only explaining how everything worked but also making our night extra special. 💞✨🍾

Nov 2025 visit Table for 2 adults, ordered 2 full churrasco experience at lunchtime 12pm reservation on a Monday, the place was quite empty with only a few tables of churrasco. Service was good overall. Quiet atmosphere. Somewhat dim room. Our gaucho(?) (server who carves the meat tableside) was the only one serving all the tables. She kept a lively place and I don't recall seeing any chicken before I was full. Plenty of beef, a couple rounds of lamb, and a pork option once. I ended on a filet. It was very tender and delicious. The meat is quite salty with huge salt crystals if you get a crust piece. I started asking for inside pieces with a little less salt. Alternatively, you could gently scrap the salt off. The market table was full of fresh fruit, cheese, salads, salami and prosciutto, salmon, greens and other side dishes. On the table, we received a plate of mashed potatoes, polenta fries, grilled plantain, and little cheese rolls. I wish we had a small plate for the newly carved meat so I wasn't making a mess of meat juices over my salad and fruit on my main plate. I guess I could have asked, but I didn't think of it until we were more than halfway full. It was our first time visiting the Portland location. I would definitely try another location.

Dinner at Fogo never disappoints, our Server O'dell was very kind and attentive. I highly recommend the Brazilian Limonada and the Caramelized Pineapple Old Fashioned. I also want to highlight the support staff, specifically Isaac for recommending the Cheesecake Brulee. Dessert is a must have for the Full Churrasco experience. The service was phenomenal, the manager Julio was so kind and was always checking in on tables and helping out the employees. We always feel cared for when we eat at Fogo.

We came in with an 8:00 PM reservation but still had to wait to be seated. Fortunately, once we were seated, the staff throughout the evening were excellent—friendly, attentive, and constantly checking on us. We also came with a plan to get the most value from the experience. We used Costco gift cards, took advantage of the military discount, and intentionally skipped the Market Table until we were full on meat so we wouldn’t fill up on the buffet first. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the price. Shortly after sitting down, we were served what felt like the lower-quality cuts first—bacon-wrapped items, sirloin, and other tougher selections. Many of the meats were heavily seasoned with large salt crystals, and several pieces were chewy enough that we ended up spitting out fatty or gristly bites. Even the filet wasn’t as tender as expected, although it’s possible we just received less desirable pieces. The highlights were definitely the picanha and the lamb. Those were the two cuts we enjoyed most. After we were finished with the meats, we finally visited the Market Table. We kept it light with some fruit, while my husband tried the mashed potatoes and we sampled the fried polenta. The polenta was much heavier than expected and wasn’t something we’d order again. The biggest surprise of the night was actually the warm grilled pineapple. It was incredibly juicy, flavorful, and honestly my favorite item of the entire meal. The Brazilian cheese bread was also excellent, and waiting until the end to eat it was the right decision. For the price, though, the quality just wasn’t there. Too many of the meats were chewy or fatty, making us feel full before getting enough of the better cuts. Even if you skip the buffet like we did, you’re still paying for the entire experience, and we simply expected consistently higher-quality meat at this price point. Overall, we don’t regret trying it, but even after maximizing discounts, we left feeling there are other steakhouses that offer a much better value. We’d consider coming back for a special occasion, but it wouldn’t be our first choice. Total menu value: Approximately $220 (including tip) Actual out-of-pocket cost: Approximately $180 after using Costco gift cards purchased at a discount and the military discount. Only 2 people about $90 per person. W the discounts applied.
