I got hooked up with Nick Oaks a few weeks ago on a load and I hauled it again this week for him. He made setup easy and was great to work with through the whole process. I would recommend Nick and DCL to anyone. Great company and great people.
It was a great experience working with this company. It was the first time, but it was so easy. I would highly recommend and love to work with them again.
They are so easy to work with and every question was answered very quickly. Great company to work with.
I want to tell everyone how unprofessional Sarah Phelps (account manager) is. We booked a load with her out of Georgia, she took us off from the load without letting us know with a reason that the customer wants the load be picked up a day before the appointment time. We were empty the day before, waiting 5 miles away from the shipper and she was aware of that at the time of the booking. But still, she recovered the load and sent us an email after it was done. Now we are with no load Friday afternoon in Georgia, because this lady probably booked it for cheaper rate or something that was more convenient for her.
Detention Fees Unpaid I booked a load with these guys and after the load was booked communication was gone. I Had a 5 hour unload time and they refuse to pay any detention time. They are refusing to communicate and thus avoiding accountability. Carriers rely on brokers to honor their agreements, and unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I would caution other carriers to get everything in writing and be prepared for potential payment disputes.
Dispatch was ok easy to speak with no problems . Payment on time .
Did a load for DCL yesterday/today and it was a good experience. Booking the load was easy and the load itself was easy. Good times for loading and unloading just like the broker Chris Boettcher said! I'll definitely work with DCL again!
They have been decent before. But last month my father owner operator booked a load with them and arrived to delivery was told that they dont have delivery appt. with multiple email that were ignored and costumer service that wouldnt give us extension to the broken directly. Driver spent 4 days for next appt with 0$ compensation from the broker. The name of the broker is Adam Burgoon, avoid him. Shame that such a big company pray on 67 year old owner operator and cheat him out of money. shame on you.
They don’t answer call for lumper and appointment for two delivery they don’t know what they doing. Very very bad customer service I been stuck no one answering call no email reply
Granted I should've done my own research but direct connect flat out said they're not responsible for anything and as it turns out matson does have a claim service for any damages your car may have had.
