I wanted to give this place 0 stars. I purchased Christian Audigier pants for $22. 1. the tag had on there a size 15 but the pants said size 33. Pants didn't fit me and because their fitting rooms are permanently closed I couldn't try them on. I purchased the pants and tried to return less than an hour after leaving the store 2. after the purchase the cashier and I did our research and found out a size 33 is a 12 in which she admitted that they put the pants in the wrong size. 3. I was forced by the manager on duty to do exchange on an ugly purse I didn't want for the third time. This is my 3rd time having to do an exchange and I told the manager I work odd hours so I don't know when I will be back to do an exchange and I want a refund. He refused and was very rude and said, "oh well." After I was forced to do an exchange, I donated that ugly purse right back to city thrift. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME! NEVER SHOPPING THERE AGAIN!

The store itself was set up fairly well, and had a pretty good assortment of good items but that wench at the check out counter needs to be fired. I have never AND I MEAN NEVER seen a more rude and unprofessional cashier. She just reeks of misery and inflicts it upon those around her! All soured up, huffing and puffing! I will never give this store a dime and will tell everyone I know.

I have had good luck with them, even though I do not go there often... I got a piece of furniture from them that was priced at $150.00 (2 pieces of glass broken), it was on a sale when I purchased it and paid $75.00 for it. Replaced the glass pieces for $35 bucks and had it appraised for $1700... Maybe I was lucky, but they have always treated me good.... The only issue that I have with them is waiting in line to check out for such a long period of time. I have purchased and donated a lot to them.

I used to love this until last 3 times I've been, the staff has been very rude. I went in to donate some nice items and to buy funeral clothes. The very first second I walked in and dropped the donations in the front, the lady at the door started making rude remarks about how I was putting the donations in the box and my outfit.

Everyone working tonight was extremely RUDE! I get y'all changed your hours but us customers that came tonight went by the time set online and didn't know. Lady didn't have to be nasty and rude neither did the young man at the counter

I used to love this place . Now it is INCREDIBLY overpriced and not consistent. Same shorts had 2 different prices . Thrift to me implies not expensive, trying to help save on expenses. Not here not anymore. And that sucks bc it has awesome stuff.

Good selection, but pretty dirty. My pet peeve? When thrifts separate cups and saucers.

Great prices, some great products and a friendly staff. I've been coming here for a couple years with my dad. I bought the movie Freeguy for $2 brand new still in the wrap.

Up until last night, I loved shopping here. After the attitude from the redhaired cashier and the "manager-on-duty", I doubt I will go back. I came in at about 8:00pm (one hour to shop until they closed). I had been picking out clothing for 30 minutes and had just reached the end of the section when the cashier came on the intercom & said the dressing rooms were closed. There were no warnings given to those shopping. I explained that I had just spent 30 minutes picking out about a couple dozen items (most of them $7 items but a couple $4 ones). She very rudely refused to let me try on my items despite the store still being open for another 30 minutes (which is more than enough time). I asked to speak to the manager and the cashier got smart again but called her. I tried reasoning with the manager that since their policy is "no refunds or exchanges", I wanted to try on my items. I even pointed out there was no intercom warning or even a sign on the door warning of when the dressing rooms close. She snidely said, "Rules are rules." They lost a $100.00-$150.00 sale because I pushed my basket to the side and told them to have fun with their reshop. As a previous retail employee, I understand completely that "rules are rules." However, I also understand that managers can make exceptions and most places give their customers fair warning before closing off the dressing rooms. They could have just said, "You have 10 minutes" and I would have said, "Fair enough." Quite simply, they did not feel like doing their jobs for the remainder of their shift because it would not have hindered them from closing on time. In fact, they could have boosted their sales and kept a loyal customer. Goodbye City Thrift! Hello Goodwill!

This store has the potential to be a great store especially with the number of people that visit it. It is suppose to be a great second hand store that supplies everything from clothes, shoes, handbags, household items, appliances and furniture at a reasonable price. Now when you go into the store the prices are so high that you might as well go to a department store and pay the retail price for something brand new rather than pay the same price for something that's not. Even with the discounts they offer during the week the prices are so high they are still getting way to much after applying the discount. I don't recommend going into this store unless you have money to burn because it would not suit anyone trying to get gently used clothes and items at a reasonable price. If you don't believe this please go into the store.
