Dire beyond belief. Huge line. Two customers in front of me with legitimate complaints, not being dealt with at all. One couple were charged $16 for not driving far enough (seriously) which apparently means they didn't use enough fuel to have made the gauge move. Another couple booked a convertible for a special road trip three months ago, of course there wasn't a convertible here, they were understandably upset at being offered a badly damaged Infinity. So it was a very uncomfortable experience in the office. When I eventually got a car (an SUV though I booked a medium) it had a totally flat tire. We got another SUV but it's filthy and 5/6 full though the ticket was marked full, I can't be bothered going back as it's taken an hour to get a vehicle already and I am losing the will to live. Really it's hard to imagine what could be worse.
I have just completed my third rental with Alamo Boston. The staff as usual was friendly and helpful. My car was ready when i arrived. Check out and check in was hassle free.
Charged us for an extra day even though we handed the car in the day before. No one was there at all to help us and we had to call customer service only to be hung up on!!! Told me it was alright to drop it off after hours even though it wasn't because they just charged whatever they felt like!!
The sales associate was very helpful and nice however the car was dirty and smelled funny. I have never rented with Avis before and will cautiously look at renting from them in the future.
The gentleman at the front desk is super nice and kind. This agency accepts European visa cards which is not necessarily feasible in other rental agencies; especially in those of the airport if your last day of rental is not the same as that of your stay in Boston
How do you give someone a dirty car?!?! Not cleaned/washed. Can't tell if its scratched up or not.. My husband picked it up. For the amount of $ you pay, you should get a clean car!
Holy, thee guys add exorbitant insurance without your knowledge. Read and ask everything u sign, otherwise flee......Never coming back. Look elsewhere, even if a bit more expensive. And LEO - remember that name - is the supervisor who you dont want to deal with. They will charge you full tank of gas, insurance without your consent. I am having my Credit Card company fight these charges and i refuse to pay these hidden fees. DO NOT use that place!!!
very friendly and patient staff in a busy hour. The condition of the car is quite nice but a little dirty. Over all, it's a very good experience renting the car with Alamo.
Other than the fact that the car was very dirty, the car Bluetooth synched with my phone but would not play my music, and the car needs a serious brake adjustment, the car was ok. The Alamo employees were great.
Was charged $24 for a “fuel charge” yet as you can see below…I returned it full. Please refund over-charge.
