My job was a small install from Astrawatt, from day one I was treated like my job was important. Reid asked me what I was wanting from a solar system and planned out a system for me To Megan who helped with financing and scheduling my project. Finally Chris and the installation crew came in and installed the system in six hours. Chris saved me money on a service panel. Once every was done Chris showed me how to work the app for the system and how to maintain the panels. Start to finish a first rate company.

We had a difficult time finding a solar power company due to the complexity of our project, but we were so happy to get connected with the team at Astrawatt. From installation to continued maintenance, it has been a breeze. Desmond, Chris, and their crew were communicative, attentive to detail, and punctual. They left an extremely clean job site and high quality construction. Adam Houp has continued to impress with any ongoing any maintenance needs. We had an electrical issue in our inverter and Adam was there within hours to fix it. Couldn't ask for a better team! Would definitely recommend Astrawatt for any solar needs.

Dishonest, Disorganized, and Disappointing I paid over $105,000 for a premium solar system that was supposed to include full property backup, two Tesla Powerwalls, and a SPAN panel. Despite multiple planning meetings with my Electrician and General Contractor they showed up and installed the wrong configuration... What I received was a split, mismatched setup that only backs up and monitors part of my property. The system was not what was promised, and their team only admitted the misconfiguration after I discovered it myself. On top of NOT delivering what I paid for, I was also invoiced for work they didn't complete. Please know that when a member of their sales staff comes to sell you a system they will tout a short install process, mine was supposed to be 5-7 days.... 141 days after they started was when my incorrect installation was "complete". They kept blaming Evergy for taking too long to install a meter. That happened because they installed a configuration that Evergy doesn't allow thus requiring additional approvals. In the end, all of the delays were caused as a result of their poor work. They also have a troubling pattern of not paying their suppliers, leading to a lien threat for over $10,000 on my home from an unpaid supplier. I had already paid Astrawatt in full a month prior to the date shown on the unpaid invoice, so this was especially concerning. Communication was sloppy, timelines were missed, and I’ve had to manage the project myself just to keep it on track. Avoid this company at all costs. There are far more reputable and reliable solar providers out there. I'm fully expecting a response to this review saying that they did in fact deliver what I ordered. Based on other reviews I've read that seems to be what they do when they mess up.

We started our search by going through energysage, that is where I first contacted Reid. I interviewed 5 companies which included Rising sun. I might be considered a problem customer as I did research into all products and configurations from each. The options provided me by Reid and Rising Sun were by far the best, though it was a tough competition. I decided to go with them based on the level of professionalism in the Quotation, The products and my needs were well laid out. Reid, and the team were all right on point. we have only had the system "online" with Evergy for a short time but it is going well. A final point, if you think you are going to get an electric vehicle (we did shortly after) have an outlet and installation included now, It's the best time to have it done as well.

I have an existing solar system and I wanted to add Enphase Battery backup and SPAN. My solar installer did not have Enphase battery products so I searched for Enphase installers on the official website. Astrawatt Solar was at the top of the list and a Platinum-rated installer to boot. Lucy, their sales executive was very personable and attentive. Scott, a co-owner was prompt, knowledgeable, and kept me apprised of every step. He even let me borrow a generator to keep my fridge and internet on to work from home during the install. Jaime's installer team had a clean install inside and out and cleaned up the work area thoroughly every day. The Enphase battery backup system is running smoothly and provides power when the solar panels are not producing. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Adam was early and handled my communication issue with ease and now I’m back up and running finally after almost a month being down. Rising Sun Solar is not my original installers. I had KC Energy Solar which no longer exists. After calling multiple companies in the metro area and actually getting a human to answer the phone, Rising Sun came out the next day and within an hour diagnosed and fixed my issue. After talking with Adam, I will be moving my contract to Rising Sun for all my future needs. Highly recommend this company!

I rarely feel compelled to write an online review, but in this case, I felt it was necessary. My experience with Astrawatt has been exceptional, beginning with their courteous and knowledgeable sales staff who promptly answered my numerous inquiries. The quoting process was transparent and easy to comprehend, clearly outlining the services offered. They provided an detailed timeline to completion and scheduled the delivery accordingly. Not only did they deliver as promised, but they also surpassed my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised to receive upgraded panels and was impressed by their efforts to obtain a newly released gateway from California so that i could have the latest greatest equipment. This level of customer service is truly commendable. The installation crew demonstrated punctuality, politeness, and thoroughness. When I encountered an issue with one of the panels making noise, they promptly resolved the problem. While there are numerous negative stories about solar companies, with many being unreliable and short-lived, Astrawatt stands out as an exception. They are a trustworthy and reliable company that I wholeheartedly recommend.

It was over a year ago that I first signed a contract to have solar panels installed at my house. Several cancelled contracts and many headaches later I was referred to RisingSun Solar. They DID what all the other companies had promised. They installed a superior product, at a great price, QUICKLY, and with excellent communication throughout the project. Thanks! They installed an LG battery for the house and everything was done quickly and with precision. Best part is I think my garage floor is cleaner now then when it started.

We just had our solar panels installed & are excited to see them up & running, just waiting on electric company to switch out our meter. Everyone was disappointed when they had to install most of it in the rain, which tore up our yard, but the staff at rising sun were great about buying us more seed & even to the store that we purchased our seed from. I'm super grateful for that. The ONLY reason for 4 stars is because I had to lay the grass seed & conditioner mostly on my own (I know they're not professional gardners, but it was laid a little sloppily). From the salesman to the workers to the office staff I had a pleasant experience with everyone & I'm sure I will continue to have. What a great investment & way to help the environment. Two thumbs up for rising sun. 🌞👍👍
