I was given the wrong location but once I found the right area, Sheri at desk was great. She lead us to the second floor. Allison was very nice and walked me through my experience. Dr Williams gave me details to what anesthesia would be like. She was amazing. Dr. Keeter was great. Everyone was very nice with great bedside manners. They really put my feelings first and showed me I was important. I had a really good experience at St. Thomas.
This was my first surgery at St. Thomas Midtown. I had the best staff possible. From the admission person to the pre-op nurses, anesthesia, operation staff and then the recovery staff I was attended to with great attention. I had 2 people when I entered the OR who actually held my hands to reassure me as I was put to sleep. What great care for my comfort.
I had surgery on Monday 4/20. A cholecystectomy aka Gallbladder removal. From the time I checked in with valet until surgery was over. Everybody that I encountered was amazing! Everything was explained in details. Everyone was very nice. Amanda was the nurse who got me prepared for surgery. Natalie was one of the nurses who was going to be in the or assisting with surgery. Dr. Jonathan Cohen and the assistant surgeon were amazing. Chris and Julia (I believe was her name) that took care of me after the surgery was over were great. Everyone that I encountered that day was amazing. Surgery was a success. I am two days post op and feel great honestly. I thank God for covering everybody that and ask that he continues to bless them.
This mid-town hospital did an excellent job processing me through my recent surgery and getting me into a room, with no issues. The food was quite good. You can get the standard meal of the day or place an order through their menu. Staff were very friendly. The facility itself was upgraded and nice, with large rooms and comfortable bed. The surgery center appeared to be upgraded with all the latest equipment. I would not hesitate to have surgery here again.
I wish I could give this so called hospital a negative 5...1st- I never had a vascular doctor which that was why I was sent there. 2nd- the so called nurse "PEYTON" was absolutely rude and even when I was talking to her in the hallway (just trying to get a drink of water) she shut the door in my face ...so then I went to the so called "nurse station"..9 of them sitting there ALL 9 ignored me while I was asking for HELP..to find out what was going on...I was so dehydrated and starving to death. I had not ate in over 48 hours and the room was 85°... They did call maintenance to come fix the air and it did help but was still hot in there. The text and the night shift nurses were very, very sweet and friendly and helpful. I was told to call the surgical clinic and of course they were closed Friday so I called early Monday and they had no records from me from this hospital. I would never recommend anyone friend or my worst enemy to go to this so-called hospital..
I had a very pleasant experience! It has often been said that first the impression is a lasting impression. The first was from the valet parking. The gentleman was very nice and professional. Everyone that was directly responsible for my care was extremely nice, professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Mencio my surgeon is amazing! I was well taken care of and for that I am very grateful!!! I can’t say enough good things about my experience.
All the staff were so good to us while we delivered our first born child July 4th. Constant checks. Calm voices. Polite. Loving. Doting. The staff are amazing & so understanding before & after delivery even if you’re feeling not your best self. I would be back for a second delivery with the same doctors Dr.Sivley & Dr.Madison if we were to do it all again. Amazing care. Thank you OB & Postpartum care teams.
I want to recognize the Transfusion Center nurses for their incredible commitment, professionalism, compassion and care for their patients. I appreciate the staff at St Thomas. Everyone is very professional and kind. I love the fact that they actually genuinely care and work towards a solution to what is going on with you. I came in very sick and they got me right back and started working on me. I've had bad experiences at other hospitals. I can't thank them enough for helping me get better. The nurses are amazing and I really loved Dr. Sigen. She is a gem of a doctor.
I was in from out of state when I experienced a medical emergency. The ER department doctors and nurses were too notch. The worked with my doctors and got me diagnosed quickly. The ICU, Pulmonary, Cardiology and the cardiac floor was top notch. The doctor and the nurses really cared abouut me and made me feel right at home. If I lived in the area would make this my hospital. They saved my life.
