The store was well stocked and products were well displayed. Good parking (well cleared after the snow storm). The customer service was terrible.... I tried hard to be patient, but it was very frustrating. Although there was no one ahead of me at customer service, the 5 minute transaction took about 45 minutes.

Normally I don’t write reviews but I must say, this is a MUST. First and foremost I want to say THANK YOU to TONY from the bakery. You did an amazing job and I couldn’t be more grateful. Secondly: Good customer service is hard to come by but GREAT service is even more rare. Tony provided EXCELLENT customer service. Thirdly: Thank you for saving the day. Not all hero’s wear caps!!! GOD BLESS YOU TONY FROM THE BAKERY!!

It's a gamble whether or not you'll be able to buy beer here. More often than not, the register is abandoned for 20 minutes at a time. Sometimes, the guy is sitting at the bar area on his phone while a line of people are staring at him. It's insanely bizarre. I recommend just going a couple blocks down to Giant heirloom.

this ACME is pretty good. BUT☝🏼 some of their "security" guards don't know how to handle some customers. I bought 2 Bustello boxes of Coffee singles. I went and check some glasses right. Well none were my like. I paid my coffees and when walking out these so called security wanted some shades I already had. Because and since he believed that I shoplifted the coffees and showed him proof he went for the next thing he sees in my bag. I tell him go check the rack and see if there are any like those. NONE! He comes back and tries the I'll let you slip if you tell me the truth truth. I'm like no! Ur trying to intimidate me by saying that so if I'm weak you fall into the trap. Anyway....I'll get my Coffees somewhere else next time.

They are stocking EXPIRED products on their shelves, some of which are from OVER A YEAR AGO. Seriously?? Picked these up this morning to share with some coworkers and I guess they’re just going in the trash now…

Terrible. This being the only big box grocer in this area of the city is a tragedy. They have a decent inventory but like all Acmes, everything is expensive. If you go into the store in the evening it’s like a maximum security prison. All of the checkout aisles are closed and they only keep the exit open. Totally unnecessary. There have to be better loss prevention methods. And finally, they don’t ever have enough employees. I have been in there multiple times trying to get wine or beer and no one is at the alcohol counter. I waited for a full 10 minutes today before just walking out. Totally not the employees fault, there were like 2 people working at 7:30 on a week night.

OMGEEZ had so much stuff their came in the front door and fruit bowls, fruit bowls all kinds, I found one I could buy and eat. The only problem was the carts were in others way some customers weren't so nice, well hey thats them, politely I kept moving the cart. Anyways pickles in a barrel with bags that zip for the others the way they may think, delicious. Sald bowls like $5.99, Shrimp was $10.00 yummy ate the dang bowl. So much more items on sale and such. Bought 20lbs of ice cheeeaaap too. Nice location, neat how it was up in the air you could shop though, nice place.

I’ve come here a few times and it’s sort of like a hidden gem acme since it’s on the second floor and you have to drive up the ramp to get to it. The store as a whole is very nice, clean and organized. Everything is pretty easy to find. Will definitely go back again in the future.

Terrible experience at the ACME on 2nd and Girard. There was only one checkout line open, customers had to bag their own groceries, and the staff were unhelpful and dismissive. I also found out at checkout that beer and wine cannot be purchased after 10 p.m., which was frustrating. Management needs to improve staffing, training, and customer service.

Just bought a pork picnic roast here today. I brought it home, cut open the cryovac packing, and my god - the smell. I am now having to air out my apartment because it smells like a porta John on the last day of a music festival. Of course I threw away the receipt as I was leaving the store because I’ve never needed one. Now I can’t get a refund unless I walk this rotten carcass all the way back to the store… I think I’ll pass on that.
