The company was very helpful and responsive. They led the way through the process and kept me informed all along the way. The install crew did a great job with as little interruption as possible. I would recommend them to anyone looking to go solar.
Communication from the beginning was pretty nonexistent. Once I had 816 Solar Pro’s name and phone, they immediately responded! They made all the difference. 816 Solar Pro deserves the best review … Maybe a sheet the sales people, installers, final set up people could leave with the customers? A way to check on the timetable, the hold ups … and even information on who will handle payments. Evergy helped somewhat, but 816 Solar Pro was the key. Every contact was positive and timely, professional and very effective. I highly recommend their services!
I've been trying to get in touch with this place for a couple months about an install. Nobody picks up or returns calls. I've tried both the number on their website and the number they used when they registered with the city as an approved contractor. Seems I'm not the only one who can't get ahold of them too. Guess I'll be looking for a new solar company.
Just got to turn my solar array on for power yesterday. It is awesome! The people at 816 Solar Pro are the best. Courteous, knowledgeable and professional and fast. What a great group of people. They explained everything and performed my installation in a day and a half getting everything ready from the electric company to approve and switch the meter over to solar. Highly recommend 816 Solar Pro to get it done right. If considering solar, these are the people to call and tell them Matthew Clark Sent you. Thanks 816 Solar Pro!
They did a good job putting solar panels on roof. Respectful of our time and courteous.
If I could do Zero Stars I would! DO NOT USE!!!! So at the beginning of the install and working through the contract there was open communication and we were repeatedly reassured that our electric bill would be reduced drastically. There was no issue getting ahold of Brandon and he returned all phone calls quickly. Well after the install it was pulling teeth to get a reply to a text message and don’t ever expect a phone call back. It has been nothing but a headache since the solar panels were installed. Our electric bill has only gone up and along with the loan payment for the solar panels we are paying over double what we were paying without the panels! WORST DECISION WE HAVE EVER MADE!! Not a single person at the company has been helpful in ANYWAY!

The uninstaller and reinstaller team was excellent, honest, and efficient. However I was informed by the team that the initial install was done incorrect. When contacting the company directly I was informed in a short and sweet version that it was my problem. They performed the work so they should get paid, so I am responsible for paying for something twice to get it done correctly by the same company. Multiple times I was told they would check into it and be contacted back, always followed up by me contacting them again. End of the day I get 1k dollars off my bill for in Nate’s own words,”this is the company admitting that it wasn’t done right to begin with.” Very poor customer service is why the company gets a rating of 1 and install team gets a 5 to average it out for a 3.
