Excellent and timely communication. Failed initial city inspection because some cables weren’t adequately tied. Failed initial utility company inspection because one placard was forgotten. Got everything buttoned up nicely with timely communication from company when that happened. Overall, missed about a month of production had those errors not occurred. I would do business with them again.

I was so impressed I’m not sure where to start with this 5 Star review… I have seen many different energy companies come and go, but I assure this one sticks around. The crew was knowledgeable and friendly, helping explain any question I might have had at the time. I truly felt like the Solar Pro team had the best interest for myself and my property… Thank you guys again! Highly recommend.

There is no communication with this company at all. Engineers will tell you one thing, the person on the phone something else, sales person another thing. I was told I was getting a new panel and they eventually gave it to me as promised but it took an argument to get it started because in Keaton’s words, “we don’t feel like it” that’s children. They’ll continue to tell you next week until you threaten contacting an investigator for local news station. The sales person never gave me the engineering schematics so I had to go with what they had, never approved them, didn’t know what was included, and their lucky I didn’t sue and go to the investigative team. I was supposed to have my sheds included but because it wasn’t talked about with them, more like I approved the engineering schematics it too would’ve been included. The business isn’t transparent and the answers are completely robotic even being a person. It’s average corporate answers, the work around while never getting a solid answer. It was Keaton throwing everybody off over the phone, he’s not transparent at all, it’s terrible business practice and it makes you feel like it’s a scam.

Solar is something I’ve wanted to do and when I came across this company, I started it. They gave me the timeline of the process with all the permits that needed to be obtained and it sounded like a hassle, but they take care of it completely. This was smooth and they were on top of it. Installation took less than a day and I really like the look of them! Thank you so much for the work! We are on and seeing the production in the app already!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION BETWEEN ANY ONE IN THE OFFICE. I have been trying to get solar pros to do get my solar array fixed for months. I called in on June 1 about getting 2 new panels and some supports fixed. It's now September 22 and everytime I call all I hear is I'll look into it, or I'll get started on this for you. I had them install my array for me and the experience was terrible simply because of the communication. Please please save yourself a head ache and go with another company

I'm not sure this company exists any longer. I have attempted to contact them numerous times over the course of several months for someone to come out and do a service call on a SolarEdge system, but nobody picks up the phone and they have yet to return any of my voicemails, emails, or inquiries through their website. I even went to their offices - one in Lenexa and the other on Troost - nobody could be found at either location. I'm contacting SolarEdge again, telling them they need to find a different company to serve as their distributor.

We used them with our solar, and I regret it very much! They do not return phone calls, they do not answer questions, and as far as I know, the system we have is not working correctly. My electric bill has not gone down, and we are paying for the solar system. The whole experience with 816 solar has been very unpleasant and regrett getting it

Installation was fast and good. The panels look great. All of the people I have dealt with are top notch. The only problem that I have had is the system communicating with the app, and it took a bit to get someone out here, but it works great now.

EDIT: I posted this review on Monday evening, Friday afternoon, the owner came by to tell me he saw the review. That is very off putting to say the least. You have an issue with my review? CALL ME! Do not randomly show up at my house! Granted, he did not threaten us, but it was threatening to come to someone's home unannounced to argue about a review. Video footage from my surveillance cameras is being submitted to the local PD. Seriously, he could have called and apologized. I would have probably edited the review to state as such. Now, he's being turned into PD and received his first and only trespassing warning. He needs to think and not be a pushy salesman. Original: Two solicitors came by (one was Lincoln, not sure of the other). They were nice but salesy. I explained that my wife is at work until late and we can address this tomorrow when she is home. The girls said okay we will call you later tonight and come by tomorrow to talk to you. I said fine. Less than an hour later, two guys show up. The “closers”. They start regurgitating everything I said to the girls but they still want to talk sales. I explained they needed to wait on my wife so we can discuss. “Well do you think she wants solar? We can get this going.” I said “I told the girls we could discuss this tomorrow when my wife is home. I’m trying to sleep.” You could see their face drop. So much so they didn’t even shake my hand when they left. They were pissed I didn’t sign up. Now here are the numbers. When they disturbed me for the second time today, they quoted a monthly price that was only $10 or so cheaper than my utilities. So not worth the headache. Also, it would still take from the grid so I wouldn’t be 100% thus still an electric bill (nullifies any savings). And finally, the creme de la crème. Month 18 we have to make a 30% balloon payment ($14,000) AND month 19 through end of contract (25 years) the bill goes up $75 a month! Rates will not increase $75 a month in 18 months to make this advisable. No wonder why people regret solar after they get them.

I had 25 solar panels installed by the 816SolarPros on my house and the garage on Nov.5,2025. Those guys did a GREAT job!! They did not inconvenience me in any way and most of it was done in just 1 day. They did a very neat job and were very courteous and friendly. I am happy to give them a 5 star rating and I highly recommend them. Great job guys! Thank you!!!!
