We stumbled in here by chance and fell in love with the atmosphere! Bartender was great, and everyone was very friendly. I would definitely recommend stopping here for a drink if you are looking to hang out in a local place with a quirky feel!

Love this place!! Tiny little dive bar tucked in to Post Alley. I definitely suggest a stop! Try the house special!

A great nook to pop in for a drink and conversation. I'd always loved the sign, but never realized it was a pub in my time living in the city. Finally stopped in with a friend, and wound up at the bar chatting with several others and the bartender. Feels like being in someone's den, to be honest, and I love that. Although, the bathroom situation is weird (it's basically a hallway off the main room without a full door, so during a lull in conversation everyone can hear you).

If you are even near Post Alley/Pike Place you gotta stop in here for at least one drink if you can. Tiny place and the overheard conversations are priceless. This place gets rowdy Thur-Sat 8 PM and on. Very intimate place that is perfect for conversation with complete strangers. Bartender is a bit goofy and super funny. They serve water out of big glass jugs LOL and Pimm's Cups and Bull's Blood are their "signature" drinks and are strong. 2 of those and you are ready for a fun evening. This place is totally one of a kind and you won't find anything like it anywhere close.

I almost thought I went to the wrong place at first based on other reviews. There is only beer and wine, and for beer, there was only either a golden ale or a porter, both $8 for a 12oz glass. It tasted alright, but nothing special considering how expensive it was and it was rather warm coming out of the tap as well. The place is quite small and quaint and the owner was friendly enough, but there is no kitchen/food (at least anymore). After reading some other reviews again, I can't help but think the place moved or downgraded or something. Would not recommend.

The dusty horse tavern. If you are looking for a quality place to get drinks, consider going elsewhere. The drinks are cheap and the quality is reflective of the price. The wine was undrinkable. If you stick to beer you may be ok, but beware you may also stick to the furniture. The furniture and carpet were old, dusty, and wine laden. The decor is festive of an old British pub; which we thought was nostalgic until we tasted the drinks. Would recommend to avoid the pimms cup as well.

I feel like you are either going to love it or hate it. It is tiny, almost claustrophobic, and very dated. Goes deep with the British pub feel, but dusty and a bit worn down. Very limited menu for drinks. Interesting place (for sure), and I would say worth stopping in for the novelty, but I wouldn’t say it is worth much more then that.

The owner gave me the best welcome i could hope for in Seattle. The beer was awesome and highly alcoholic. the cocktails was made literally from scratch. and the other patron was really nice. the entire experience seemed really authentic. 10/10, would go back for more ale!

Nice charming enough little spot but not sure why the business listing indicates only one $. Those are supposed to be for low priced dive bars that have options for $2-3 cans of beer. This is a high priced spot. Nothing cheap about it. A flat English ale in a 14 oz glass is ten bucks. It’s fine, it is what it is, but let’s not pretend here. Call a spade a spade.

Awesome place with a cozy pub/living room vibe. Dim lit and close-quarters makes for a unique Seattle ambience. Very busy at during the time of our visit--full capacity for this place is probably no more than 40 persons. Only thing to eat was a black of cheddar cheese and raw white onion (apparently an English pub thing). Only two beers on tap, so not a lot of variety, but the quality if these two cask options was impeccable. Adjust the price so I'm not paying $8 per 12oz and I'll add that fifth star.
