Yikes! Possibly one of the most unsafe drivers I’ve ever seen! I had no choice but to call the state highway patrol I’m not sure if he was under the influence, but the dude was all over the place
I wouldn't recommend hauling for this broker. They currently owe on two invoices with one being out 90 days. Accounts payable is not reachable and the phone number is unmanned. It gives you a website to check for payment status. This website doesn't work and you get nowhere. Most of the time the phone number for dispatch doesn't even work.
Worst medical health plan I’ve ever seen. Hard to budget for that much out of pocket. Depending on which deductible you choose. 1st 3000.00 is totally up to you. Insurance won’t even negotiate with offices for better co-pay. So up to 3000.00 you pay 100%. Then up to 6000.00 they only pay 70%
If I could get it no stars I would, this company is a JOKE . Dont expect to get the miles that you are promised , and dont expect to be home every weekend like promised. They wont even give you a copy of the contract that you signed. If someone is reading this and expecting to go to this company, PLEASE find a new place to get your CDL .
I've been waiting for over a month for a revised rate confirmation. I've emailed serval times and only received a response after calling and getting ahold of someone. Even then, they took over a week to get back to me and stated I could "submit my load for factoring" without providing a revised rate confirmation. I paid a lumper fee because they were experiencing difficulties and it has been a headache to try and collect this money. I cannot submit my load for funding without a revised rate confirmation. Would not recommend working with Venture Logistics.
Drivers are ignorant, disrespectful, no road etiquette, and drive deadly dangerous on the roads! Whipping in and out of traffic. Doing 75 or faster through very tight road construction zones where the speed limit is 55 mph. Tailgating. Cutting people off. Just bad drivers all the way around
Dedicated drivers are some of the laziest non professional drivers I've ever been around,this company definitely proves that all you need is a heartbeat to drive for them.pitiful!!!!
Company has very unprofessional drivers. Just got road raged on in front of there shop on Harding court. It’s not the first time
SAFETY We put the health and safety of all those we touch at the forefront...this is a lie, this company has no concern for the safety of the public. This company allows their drivers to speed (excessive), drive down the middle of the road forcing motorists to drive off the pavement, it is apparent that they are trying to avoid a weight station by driving on a road posted NO SEMI and the road is posted NO TRUCKS OVER 17,000 but the equipment they are operating is 80,000lbs, the safety department has an attitude when complaining about the company drivers breaking the law. No one in customer service answers the telephone.
On Wednesday September 19,2019, while driving in the right lane on I74 W, just beyond the Northbend Rd exit, one of Ventures drivers pulled out from behind another semi cutting my granddaughters car off while she was driving in the center lane. Trying her best to avoid having her car end up underneath Ventures truck she was forced into the grass medium, barely missing a concrete pole base. Thank God there was nobody traveling in the left lane. We attempted to call their safety department and so far have had to return call. My husband is a OTR driver of over 30 years and needless to say we’re horrified by this drivers lack of attention and skill. Give these guys a wide berth if you don’t want to end up road kill. Maybe we’ll call DOT.
