My dad ordered cchips and guacamole and it came with a dollop of guacamole. Chips over cooked, after about three bites this is what was left of the guacamole $10 bucks for this is wild
Very nice and very lively! The food is delicious. I tried the cochinita tacos and the anticucho and they were really good! I also had the piña colada with the whole pineapple and it was delicious. It's a little hard to get a table specially right now with the nice weather but it's worth it. You also have to wait in line to place your order so be prepared to be in the sun for a little while, again, worth the wait and the line.
The food is definitely a five star it's fresh good and good flavors, but my issue was as I took my three year old daughter to eat and they did not have any kids menus. I asked if I could buy a side of rice and was told no. I feel like they should make accommodations or a better menu for children. Or at least have an option to buy side items such as rice. And it would be nice if I can recognize Who works there like maybe if they could all wear the same T-shirt work attire. The employees did great and the food was great this is more directed at the owner/management in the improvements they could make
Took my partner here for his birthday and it was delightful! The humans that work here were so helpful, kind, and had SUCH a sense of urgency that you don’t always get in food service (speaking as someone who worked in food service for many years myself). I’m allergic to alcohol and this spot had N/A options on the menu, they also came up with new N/A mixed drinks on the fly when I wanted to try something new (we were there awhile). Drinks were phenomenal, only note I have is for me the virgin piña colada was a tad too sweet with the grenadine so next time I’ll order it with that modification. Everyone who drank the alcoholic version had absolutely no complaints, however. Outdoor seating had plenty of room, there are outdoor heaters so even in February sitting on the patio was pleasant. I had fish tacos that were delicious and came quickly. It was a lovely evening in a lovely space with lovely food, drink, and staff. Thanks y’all!!
I ordered light as sort of a control for tasting but became disappointed in my own decision to do that when I saw the plates of the other people around me coming out. Anyway, here's the incredibly delicious, insanely picturesque tacos I got. And yeah, the vibe overall is pretty chill and staff are chill. Definitely will be making this part of my downtown routine.
Great outdoor seating, food arrived to our table quickly. Pina colada was delicious, I recommend the chips quac/salsa. Fish tacos were good I prefer a flour batter verses corn meal (texture thing).
We went during prime dinner time on a Friday and waited a very, very long time for 3 tacos to come out. Maybe 45+ minutes? My partner got food here, and I ate somewhere else. We got in line at the same time and my dinner was cold after waiting for his. This could have been a fluke since it was rush hour, but I can’t say I’ve waited this long for tacos anywhere in Portland other than one of the very most popular taco places which I can always see the line for and decide. Tacos are stuffed and well-priced. I’ve tried multiple flavors. A little dry. Margaritas are 10/10. I won’t ever go again, though, for fear that the counter is ringing up too many orders and the kitchen can’t keep up. I hope everyone has good wages there.
Great outdoor atmosphere even for a hot and sunny day. The drinks were excellent, the food was a 3/5. The salsas with the chips was smoky but not flavorful. The warm bowl was alright but nothing to take home.
We stumbled on this place by accident and were super surprised by the amazing tacos. We tried the chicken, pork and shrimp and all were absolutely amazing. Great place to go for very quick service and a wonderful staff.
OMG One of my all-time favorite meals! Just the right amount of salt, acid, sweet, and heat! Incredibly fresh! Reminds me of an amazing place in San Diego that costs twice as much. I will be back!
