I had the la Granada and the Pina colada in January.. honestly loved the cocktails and appetizers. Definitely plan on coming back when it's warmer so I can sample more..
I ordered the arepa that normally is a vegetarian they replace it with adobada y fue fabulous it wasn't exactly as the Venezuelan server but it didn't matter the product and presentation was excellent. The sweet fried plantains were excellent soft and tasty. And the Piña Colada out of this world I highly recommend it. The personnel are very attentive and helpful
Everything we ate was delicious & the drinks were so good, especially the non-alcoholic pina colada! Best I’ve had! Highly recommend the ceviche & octopus!
The piña colada in an actual pineapple is amazing!! Small and unique menu. Something for everyone! I got the tostada and my partner got the torta. Wonderful people and a great place to grab some grub with friends! Go check it out!
The staff were friendly. It's decent/good food and drinks but the price (even during happy hour) exceeds what it's worth. Unlikely to return or recommend.
This place is very cute, love the sign and the loud fun music. Distancing was fairly easy. Had a pina colada, the steak skewer and some chips and guacamole. I didn’t really mind paying a lot for the drink, but the food was really not great and cost quite a bit for what you get. Portions are very small and most of their stuff can’t really be shared with a friend if you are trying to be good about COVID. I guess I mean, why are they making dips and things you would normally share? My friend ordered the ceviche and i tried it, I really didn’t love it. The fish was in large chunks, and it had corn nuts (quicos) in the bottom. Super cute for these last days of summer, I’d recommend drinks only! (P.S. maybe bring your own straw? The paper straws are super cute but it’s extremely hard to drink through them, they are narrow and the pina coladas have a bunch of fresh fruit and chunky ice).
Excellent fish tacos and tequila. The staff is friendly and well schooled in the food and drinks they offer. We opted for a tequila flight and each was excellent. They have great cocktails and Mexican beer. I had a Tecate which was good. The chips and guacamole with the added salsas were tasty. The place was busy when we got there at 5:20 PM on a Wednesday. The one draw back about this restaurant is that there is only Street parking which was a challenge to find a spot. You might have to park blocks away.
Pina colada (with and without alcohol) are delicious, I love they have option for two sizes! The food is good although the size of the portions is a tad bit smaller than what I would have liked. The service - people are nice as it’s Portland but it felt slow and took forever to get my drink. I think they were just super busy that day as it was a warm sunny day in April.
This might be my favorite place to eat in Portland. I’m never disappointed. Every single dish is great, although I might love the pozole most. It makes dreary winters better. The chips and salsa are amazing, if I could take a bath in the roasted piña salsa, I absolutely would. The drinks are very well crafted and creatively garnished and where else in PDX can you get a pina-colada straight from the pineapple? Nowhere.
We came here just for piña coladas. We also came for outdoor seating which this place has in abundance along with a lot of other food choices. The piña coladas were the perfect consistency, but they definitely were on the more manufactured/fake side of the piña colada spectrum.
