Working with the Tailory was such a great experience! Their hospitality was very welcoming and made my wife and I feel very at home. They made a stunning Suit and Dress from scratch for us both. Working with the Tailory was definitely the least stressful part of our wedding. I highly recommend working with them!

The Tailory New York - I cannot say enough about them! My suit is the BEST thing I have ever purchased! From the concept to the final tailoring, the experience was marvelous! Mind you, we did this all virtually during Covid! The Team at the Tailory was so professional, kind and worked with me until the suit was perfect! I just love the fabric, the custom design, the color and especially the POCKETS! I received the most compliments wearing this chic, edgy, smart suit to a wedding on Labor Day, than I ever have with any outfit I wore in the past (mostly I wore dresses to galas and weddings in the past)! And I wore it again in November for another wedding - to boot my fuchsia pink pocket square matches the inside lining of my jacket! Kudos to The Tailory! The Go-To for Bespoke Suiting! The Tailory exceeded my expectations! From my first inquiry on their website to the personal delivery of my suit (thank you, Silke) The Tailory went above and beyond to make sure I had a positive experience and the exact suit I wanted. I am so thankful a company like this exists and I was able to wear a perfectly fitted suit to my friends wedding instead of a dress! They are experts at fitting a suit to a woman's body and I couldn't be happier with how my suit turned out. Everyone on the team was helpful and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I know I will be getting all my suits from The Tailory from here on out. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The way I felt in the suit was indescribable and I can't thank the the team enough!!

This would be 100 stars if possible. If you want to look amazing but have no idea how to do it yourself, you've come to the right place. My partner and I were planning our wedding and I spent months fretting about what to wear. I've done rent the runway before to varied results, and found a lot of looks shopping online that I loved but just didn't look good on me, and really wasn't able to find anything that fit both my body and style. I scheduled an appointment with Tailory on a whim and showed up not exactly sure what to expect, but I'm so happy I did. I showed up to their fabulously cool space and immediately felt comfortable. Silke sat me down (with a great cocktail) and we just talked about our party vibe, what I liked and what I wanted for myself. I'm not someone with much knowledge of fashion or style, and it was the biggest relief to just sit and talk and get advice about what would look good on me. Silke walked me through each and every component of my look, from cuff, lining, buttons, pockets, belt loops, and all the different shades of black to choose from! It was the most fun I'd had in a while and I learned a lot in process. Measuring was extensive but again, I felt incredibly at ease in what could be an uncomfortable situation. These ladies are just so kind, professional, and at ease that I just sipped my g&t and let them do their work on me. And gotta say, the suit fit PERFECTLY, so I'm glad they got every inch of me mapped out :) (apparently my right arm is an inch shorter than my left, which is why I always have to cuff my blazers for work, who knew!) Throughout the process they kept me updated and stuck to the timeline we discussed at the first appointment, even though it was pretty tight (~8-9 weeks from first visit to delivery). I enjoyed every second of the process, and I felt so fabulous and at ease at our wedding. I've already bought 2 more shirts and expect to go back for more suits for work soon. If you're considering it, make the appointment. It was worth every penny.

We had the most joyous ‘In the Mood For Love Disco Glam’ wedding and it was simply the most magical experience we could have asked for! When we first approached The Tailory, I wanted a suit that reflected the playfulness and vibrancy in our sensibilities and our wedding design. We were playing with the classic reds and golds of a Chinese wedding but also the glitter and glam of a queer disco party. And as a person that runs hot, I did not want conventional suiting and I wanted to wear shorts! I call my suit concept ’the mullet’, a short jacket on top and long shirt in the back, both for style AND ventilation! We came up with a cropped bolero style jacket, a long dress shirt that almost felt like coattails, and knee length shorts. Shao was incredibly helpful working with me on the silhouette, the fabric, and button selection, and incorporating red trim in a nod to our color theme. She also suggesting a silk shirt designed for flow and breathability. Working together was such a fun process, and I love the suit fabric we selected, a dragon embroidered pattern in shimmering blue green. I also love that all the elements could all be worn separately in the future! And a special shout out to the Tailory team for being incredibly kind and gracious in the final weeks for helping to finish Anna’s gold wedding dress. We felt so comfortable and glamorous on the day of, from the ceremony to the dance party rager in the evening. We felt like disco royalty and most importantly we felt like US!

There are no words that can articulate the level of appreciation I have for the Tailory. They were so thoughtful in supporting the design, fabric selection, fitting, and everything else. They always provided their professional opinion and recommendation without pressuring or being overbearing. The entire team was LOVELY, I have absolutely nothing but the best things to say and peaches is so cute!!!! This suit made me feel badass, amazing, chic - everything I wanted and more. A few months ago, I came to the Tailory and ordered a custom jumpsuit to wear to my sister's wedding. I was really happy with the result. The designer helped me chose the perfect fabric and fit. The tailoring was flawless, and the jumpsuit was so comfortable and stylish. It fit like a glove and made me feel confident all day. I received so many compliments. Strongly recommend this place if you're looking for something unique and high-quality!

The Tailory helped me design the long JACKET & CAPE of my dreams for my wedding! I never liked wearing dresses, and when I fell upon this company, looking for a femme/masculine/edgy style, I knew I had to pursue them to help me create the look I desired, from the custom jumpsuit and long jacket WITH SPIKES and bling! My wife was obsessed with it upon our first look and my outfit was the TALK of the night and MOST anticipated from our guests! Everyone LOVED my look and it truly reflected me and my style! I can't speak highly enough about my entire experience working with the Tailory. I wanted to get a custom suit for my wedding and really wanted to go somewhere that valued androgyny and the queer community. I had no idea what I was doing, but I knew I wanted something unique and sharp and the Tailory seemed to really stand out. In my consultation, led by the manager Silke (who is absolutely amazing), I gained a new appreciation for the true artistry that goes into making a custom suit. Silke took me through every detail and helped me make fashionable choices as I put the pieces together. I was grateful to have Silke's guidance because I can be kind of square and she pushed me to think bigger about my big day. After we put together the suit, the rest of the process was seamless. I had a few fittings where the Tailor really took care to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. The attention to detail, active listening and collaboration was really special. In the end I came away with a suit better than I had ever imagined. It was everything I wanted and (don't tell my wife) it really stole the show. I got so many compliments and more importantly I felt confident in how I looked. I spent the night dancing and having a blast and it held up strong. The best part is, I can definitely wear it again. The worst part is, now I can't stop thinking about what my next suit will be - its a dangerous habit to pick up! But I'm totally obsessed and would absolutely recommend the Tailory for any special occasion - or just a nice new suit! In fact, I already sent a friend who got their wedding suit there and she is another very happy customer. I can't thank Silke and the team at the Tailory enough for making me feel so special throughout the entire journey. 20/10 would highly recommend!
