First off, I’d like to thank Shao and Valerie for always, always making me feel comfortable and respected. They valued my opinions, but did not hesitate to offer their input and advice when asked. It helped narrow down the MANY choices when it came to fabric and design selection. They are both very personable and friendly without losing their professional edge. I absolutely love my custom tailored shirt, vest, and suit and was amazed by how comfortable I felt in it. Comfort! In a suit! Not words I would usually associate together. I needed a suit for a beach wedding, but didn’t have the time to go browsing for one in stores and definitely wasn’t keen on paying steep alterations fees since your typical off-the-rack suits and clothing don’t always complement my figure and style. I originally accompanied my friend, the “broom” for the upcoming wedding, to The Tailory for a couple of her fittings. After watching Shao and Valerie work with my friend, and seeing her amazing suit at the end of it all, I decided to have The Tailory make my suit as well. Best decision ever. The turnaround time is very quick and they’re flexible in scheduling your fittings. Thank you again Shao and Valerie!

After several unsuccessful trips to various retailers in search of a suit I could wear for job interviews, I decided to look into having one custom-made. I had never considered bespoke clothing before because it always seemed like a luxury that was out of reach for me, but knowing that I wanted to look as good as possible when interviewing senior-level administrative positions, I decided that it was at least worth looking into. During the course of my research I came across The Tailory and was immediately drawn to the company's inclusive ethos as conveyed through its social media presence. I decided to make an appointment and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that it was one of the best things I did for myself in 2019. From start to finish, the team at The Tailory was incredibly patient with me and my very obvious lack of knowledge related to tailored fashions. With their guidance, I was able to weigh in on every single element of the custom suit and shirt they designed and created for me. Moreover, they were able to work within my specified budget without sacrificing neither quality nor the important customizations that make my suit perfect for my body. There are no words to describe this experience. From start to finish they provided white glove customer service. The finished product was beyond what I pictured. I had a special event and wanted to look my best. They provided that and more for me. I highly recommend them not just for special occasions but for that dream outfit you can't seem to find at your favorite retail store. The Tailory opened up a whole world for me. I can't wait to collaborate with them on more pieces that fit my body and highlight my unique style. Five stars all around!

My wool coat is so soft and impeccably constructed that I am sure it will stand both the test of time and daily wear. The process has taken about three weeks start to finish, which is much faster than I expected. A custom piece is definitely an investment, but it is well worth the value of the beautiful fabrics, expertise, and excellent customer service that The Tailory provides. I was unsure of what to expect because I had never ordered a custom piece, but Shao and Valerie made me feel very welcome. There are so many different fabrics and notions to choose from, but I never felt overwhelmed because of Shao's excellent guidance.

I had the most incredible experience working with the Tailory! In my second to last fitting the suit wasn't fitting exactly right so they completely redid the suit from scratch, delivered on time and didn't charge anything additional. I couldn't recommend them enough, they will ensure you look absolutely perfect and have a suit for years to come!

I love my suit! I loved working with the Tailory New York team and I felt extremely comfortable throughout the whole process. These are very high quality suits. I've never looked fresher! The folks at Tailory are absolutely lovely and will make you feel right at home. I had a lot of scheduling issues but the Tailory was very flexible in working around my schedule. The experience of picking your materials, buttons, cut, etc. will surely spark joy and it's something you'll never forget. Plus, they really take your personal style into account and will surprise you with their sartorial creativity. For example, I love hoodies and sneakers so they helped me design a suit that looks good with sneakers and can fit a hoodie without looking baggy. What a bunch of magicians. 10/10 experience and 10/10 suit

The Tailory has phenomenal folks working for them- we did an online fitting, online designing and the suit turned out beautifully. As a petite woman, it's very hard to find suits period but the Tailory worked with me, listened and were so lovely to work with. Would absolutely go back and recommend!

The Tailory New York exceeded all of my expectations. I needed a very specific shade of green to match the wedding party for my brother’s wedding. The Tailory New York went above and beyond matching a very specific swatch I brought with me. After setting me up with a nice drink, we spent almost an hour pouring through book after book until we found the perfect shade in one of their premium bamboo books. We were on a tight timeline, but that didn’t stop The Tailory from executing perfection every step of the way. They ordered from the mill at my appointment to ensure delivery within my timeline. They even brought their Master Tailor Igor up for my fitting to successfully turn my alterations around in 24 hours. Boy, is that man an efficient, talented, and entertaining member of the team. What really made the difference was how every member I interacted with made me feel welcomed and appreciated. I had looked at a few other custom suiting places and no one made me feel like the company cared about me on a personal level. At my pick-up appointment, the team even remembered to ask me about my grandmother, who had just thankfully survived COVID-19 a few months before. That is true attention to detail. At the wedding, I got to dance with my grandmother and she could not get over how I looked in my new suit (she actually would not let it go). I was also able to keep my jacket on at a summer wedding because the team set me up with thermoregulating fabric.The Tailory New York does more than just deliver a product, they instill confidence in you to create the most important memories of your life.
