Been here a few times. Always great service and the food always tastes fresh. Pretty clean inside. I like the burger and onion rings. Lots of choices. Prices are not too bad. I recommend this place to anyone in the area. We will be back.
I wanted to wait to write this review but my experience today made me have to... Have been going here for years and yet, their quality of service in the kitchen and behind the counter has gone down... Hiring young people and or people that really don't care and are doing minimum besides the table busters (who do their job)... It seems during the week the staff are not as efficient or reliable as the weekend ones as the weekend ones have people who are more older and or experienced! I went in for me and my son to get a burger and chicken tenders with a shake... I took over 30mintues of waiting for the food, so I had to ask to take it togo. If they did not make it literally in the next 10 min from then, I was going to ask for my money back! Other people were waiting and I could tell. A group of 4 teenagers where two kids got their food 15min before others and none of them got pizza or other things which usually take longer at the loop. Or couple waiting on their phones where they could see a whole episode of a tv show waiting for their food. The place was not even as full as the weekends... I told the front why I wanted it to go and that it was taking a long time. I got a quick "ya I know I'm sorry" from the front girl but that was it. They had like 2-3 people in the kitchen working on togo orders not focusing on who is actually in the restaurant. These people were laughing and taking it easy like they were high or just too comfortable. There is a reason this is a local place and we expect a local vibe for our kids and not want to go to McDonald's or fast food with chemicals but this was ridiculous. Got my food togo after waiting 40minutes total only to open it to have 2 chicken tenders and barely any fries in each togo meal... THIS PLACE HAS TO GET BETTER TRAINED STAFF OR MANAGEMENT. Quality of food is still ok which is why today got 2 stars but ya, it's has gone downhill and this is the 6 time this year, they have taken forever and we have had to wait as if we were at a fancy restaurant... This is not a gourmet place and thus should not take this long. Goodluck loop!
Overall, the food and service were very good, as they usually are. However, our order was initially placed in the wrong bags, which caused some confusion. When we brought it to the manager’s attention, he approached the situation appearing somewhat irritated and immediately stated that they would just cook everything again without first asking what the issue was. We asked him to give us a moment so we could check the order, and it turned out that everything was actually there just packaged in the wrong bags. The situation seemed to escalate more than necessary, and the manager appeared frustrated during the interaction. Aside from that moment, the food was excellent and the overall experience was still positive, as it typically is. I would only suggest that situations like this be approached a bit more calmly, especially when interacting directly with customers.
Omg this was our second time going here and I must say that they do not disappoint. I forgot to take the pics at first but before it was all gone I got a few. I will be back
If you are gluten-sensitive the Pinsa pizza is AMAZING. A must-try before you die. Unfortunately, it’s not gluten-free (although there is a gluten-free crust option we haven’t tried), the Pinsa does have significantly reduced gluten. It’s fabulously light and fluffy. The sauce was tangy & the cheese fresh. Can’t recommend enough! We will be back for sure.
I live close by the Loop in San Marco, but I don't frequent it much, why? Because every single time I dine-in or order to go,there is a problem with my order. Once they forgot to give me silverware on a to go with my salad for lunch,no big deal,I should have checked. The most recent visit, the young man just ignored me while I was right in front of him trying to order,so I ordered to go eventually,a large chicken, garlic, spicy cilantro pizza and an oreo milkshake, the issue was they did not put jalapeños,nor any garlic, zero, and the chicken was too crispy and not enough. Oh,and the milkshake was frozen solid and had no whipped cream and no cherry. Why did they ask me if I wanted whipped cream and a cherry but not add that? They did not even blended it,they just handed me a solid ice-cream in the cup. I love The Loop, but the one at San Marco sucks so bad,I would never ever go there again. I gave them many times a chance to make it right, but they are not doing a good job there, and I have been returning year after year and still sucks. If I could give it a minus zero I would. Shame on you. Learn from the Loop in Fernandina Beach, they are excellent in every way, they are not slackers, they don't ignore you while you are standing in front of whoever is suppose to take your order, they know what they are doing, unlike at the one in San Marco. I took pictures of the pizza and the sorry oreo milkshake. While sitting in my car,I contemplated going back to the Loop and get my money back but I had parked far and I was tired and dissapointed about another messed up order,I was just glad I didn't wasted more of my money there. Incomplete, inadequate food, terrible customer service. I don't recommend this specific one,go to any other one but this one, save yourselves a bad experience. Management, please do something about it asap.
8 French fries and the burger was "sufficient" I have a picture of the eight French fries but there is no option to post it here. Uber support said the business dictates portion sizes and they are unable to do anything about it from their end. Thankfully I was there for their heyday when the lines were out the doors. I'm good on the loop food, probably for the rest of my life. There are just too many more options nowadays to overpay for sub par food.
Food is almost gourmet but counter service keeps prices reasonable. House-made Bleu cheese chips are beyond ridiculous and the pizza options are incredible. My salmon sandwich was perfect also. Will be back many times.
The food is always great. The onion rings are the best around. The warm bleu cheese chips are the best, too. I had a missing item when my order came up and they fixed it immediately. Quick, great service and worth any wait. I got a mushroom and swiss chicken sandwich with some of the toppings removed (mushrooms were missing but they fixed it).
Placed a “to go” order and upon my arrival, there was a long line of people ordering. I stepped up to counter to ask if there was a pick up area and was told I had to wait in line. Then another customer stepped up to counter without getting in line and picked up their order. Very unorganized and inconsistent. Then, to top it off, my burger was not cooked well done as ordered. Very disappointing experience in both food and service.
