The help I received from Nivek when purchasing cutlery was outstanding. He not only had great phone skills, but he was very knowledgeable about cutlery. He helped me make purchasing decisions based on my needs. A very positive experience.
What a great kitchen store. The have an impressive amount of wares in a reasonably sized space. Be prepared to squeeze past a few people in some of the tight corners but you will surely find something you like. They have a wide range of medium and high quality items. Even some of the premium lifetime enamelled cast iron cookware that will outlive you if taken care of properly. The staff have always been bright, friendly and ready to help when I have visited in the past. Check it out.
Nice selection and attentive staff! They spent well over 30 minutes helping us try out and decide on knives, steels, and cutting boards. It was a great way to pick out the right tools for our kitchen. They carry mostly higher price point items but very worth the cost for the quality. Convenient location right in the market as well.
Met Nivek at the store, we were looking at cookware while on vacation. We were not buyers that day and I’m sure he knew that. However, he gave us a first class education on cookware, heat transfer, metals and layers of metals and surfaces. Very knowledgeable and pleasant. If you get by the store ask for him, he’s great!
It used to be in the Ferry Building in San Francisco, but it disappeared. I found out it was in Seattle, and I was able to go there during my sightseeing this time. But the result was very disappointing. The store was open, but I couldn't buy anything because the cash register was broken. The clerk said he would contact me when the cash register was repaired, but I never heard from him. Why would they be open when the cash register is broken? But I like their products 😊
The staff is amazing. Charles is my favorite. But they all are fantastic. Kudo’s to Lisa for the advice to review.

I visited this store today, the customer service was horrible. I was totally insulted when i went to check out & the man asked me where i was from, i said Minnesota, he made the comment that i should buy a casserole dish then. I felt very disrespected and disappointed in this comment. I almost returned my stuff because it was so damn rude
Michael was amazing, and extremely helpful. I've been shopping here since the early 90's, and always appreciate the exceptional service.
Love this store, been going for years, always can find what I want and so much more.
