We recently purchased a home and asked to have the home reviewed for a solar set up. Chet was helpful, professional and very knowledgeable. At the end of the appointment the recommendation was to wait and take care of some items first to ensure solar is truly the right direction to go. If you're researching solar vendors, you've probably realized it's A LOT. There are a ton of vendors. Once you start doing research online they come out of the woodworks and you see them Facebook or Instagram etc. The big companies doing a ton of marketing are from out of state and it was important to us to have a local company. We reached out to the Energy Trust of Oregon and were able to get a list of local companies which we interviewed. After talking to several local companies, I met with Chet from Sunpath and although his job was to sell me, his approach was more like a friend offering me advise. He made the process simple to understand and was not only price competitive, but easy to do business with. They took care of everything (permits and all) and their crew was simply excellent during the installation process. I'm referring friends and family to Sunpath. You will too.

Chet and Jake did a great job. We needed to have our solar panels reinstalled after our original installer abandoned the job. Chet came out and assessed the situation, told us exactly what hardware we would need, and quoted us a really fair price to do the job. Chet and Jake worked in bad weather to get our system up and running, and it’s working perfectly now. They were a pleasure to work with and we would recommend them to anyone who needs solar work done.

I rarely write reviews about much of anything. However, when I am the delighted recipient of outstanding customer service, I feel compelled to shout it out. We recently signed up for a new solar PV system by Sunpath Services, LLC. We received clear communications, they did what they committed to, and then some, and they demonstrated flexibility with our late request to route cabling in the wall cavity instead of surface mount and they immediately replaced a defective panel under warranty. I needed my roof replaced so had to have solar panels removed and then reinstalled. Chet was very responsive and didn't hesitate to answer all my questions and quickly gave me a very competitive bid to have the work completed. Johnathan and Kordon came out on the scheduled day to remove panels, both answered my questions in a friendly manner; and efficiently removed all the panels and cleaned everything up after themselves. Once I communicated to Chet that the roof had been replaced, he quickly scheduled the reinstall. Johnathan and Kordon to the rescue, They came back and were on time. After installing the new roof rails, they cleaned the solar panels and got them back up in a quick manner. Once again, being very professional and answering the questions I had. I've recently had extensive work done in my house, and this was the smoothest any of the work has gone. Chet, the owner is very communicative and a man of his word. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I have hired a number of contractors in my time for a myriad of projects, and this has been the best, most hassle-free experience I’ve ever had, bar none. SunPath was super helpful, informative, pro-active, punctual, kept every promise, and responded promptly to queries. I wish every company I dealt with provided their level of customer service and value.

My husband and I used Sunpath for our solar installation this winter and could not be happier with the process from beginning to end. We had researched and gotten a few different assessments and quotes, but each time we felt a little uneasy about the sales pitch or the knowledge of the salesperson. But Sunpath was different. Theirs was the most transparent, low-pressure, respectful assessment. It was also the most reasonable without compromising quality quote of them all. They made sure we understood everything every step of the way. The owner came out and did the assessment himself and walked me through everything. Their crew was communicative, on time & efficient. Everything happened like they said it would. They also voluntarily guaranteed their work. In the contract they sent us they stated that if for any reason we didn’t get the tax credit because they failed to complete the work and get us up and running before year end (we did the install in December), they would refund us the tax credit amount. I should mention that one oversight on their end was made during install that meant our panels weren’t initially generating like they were supposed to once they went live. I gave them a call and they were out at our house within the hour to assess. They knocked on my door, owned their mistake and came back the next day to fix it. Look, human error can happen to anyone, it’s how you handle it that matters, and this was A+ service and integrity. We would enthusiastically recommend Sunpath to anyone interested in solar.
