When i wanted to add solar to our home I searched around, checking reddit and neighbor groups for suggestions. I learned to never even consider ION solar. I boiled down to Sunpath and Green Ridge. Sunpath was great to work with, I got a proper inspection on the first (and only necessary) visit. Got a quote that was ~10k cost less than Green Ridge. Then once all the paperwork and permits were sorted the install only took 1 day and then a few more for PGE to come certify the work. I wasn't pushed into unnecessary additions, but also wasn't discouraged from the amount of panels i wanted. I've had it a few weeks now and am eager to see how little to no bill i have come the longer spring and summer days.

We're very happy with Sunpath! A solar project is complex, and not everything always goes exactly as initially planned. What matters to me is how the contractor reacts in this case, and Sunpath excelled! Our project had 3 arrays installed on 2 separate roofs, and had the electrical panel replaced at the same time. From signing to turning on, it took 47 days. There were two hickups on the way, which Sunpath had to work around. First, the connection to the electrical panel could not be done as planned (had to do line side tap vs. through breakers on the load side), so the permit had to be updated and re-approved. This coincided with a weeklong shutdown of the permitting office due to software upgrades, so we had some delay there. The second issue was that the contractor replacing the electrical panel made some mistakes, and hence we didn't pass the inspection. Sunpath reacted lightning fast - failed inspection Monday, contractors were out again Wednesday, passed 2nd inspection Thursday. Sunpath is a smaller company, you deal with the owners directly - a great plus. I couldn't be happier with them and would absolutely go with them again. They were also the only company that actually came out and did measurements on our roof, everybody else just used satellite images. Sunpath gives a 5 year production guarantee (if the system produces less than their estimate, they pay for the difference in power that you had to buy), plus 10 year workmanship warranty. Main steps for a solar install (all done by Sunpath for us): Design system, send plans to city Apply for net metering with PGE (I signed via docusign) City approves plans (--> permit) Sunpath installs and connects to electrical panel City inspection Once inspection is passed, PGE comes out to swap out electrical meter --> operating permit Now you can turn the system on!

I hired Sunpath to remove and reinstall my solar panels as part of a roof replacement project. They did a great job and I appreciate their help. I bought my solar panels from a particular vendor who is known for making electric cars and have terrible regret. Given the chance to do it over again, I'd go with someone like Sunpath from the beginning.

This is our 2nd solar array and SunPath Services exceeded our expectations on all fronts. All interactions were terrific; none of the high-pressure tactics we'd been bombarded with from other companies. (We're still receiving robo-calls, lol) We initially worked with Chris who (given our home's solar potential) helped us to design the largest array possible. Then Chet and Jenna were so helpful and responsive in coordinating with our roofers, preparing paperwork, and directing us to PSCCU. And then finally the installation crew! They were incredible and we were amazed at how efficiently they worked. SunPath even repaired wall damage from where our old inverter was - a complete surprise to us!! As we navigated this complicated process (removing the old array, and installing the new roof & array), everyone at SunPath Services was very helpful and patient with us. The equipment they put up is top-notch and our new favorite phone app is the Enlighten app. Thank you SUNPATH SERVICES - we couldn't be happier!

Excellent Company We were extremely impressed with the work done on our house. We had 29 solar panels put on our roof. The entire team was fast, efficient, and professional. They worked hard to get it done in two days and before the end of the year, so we have already received our tax credits from the IRS. The panels are top quality so far and they are exceeding all expectations. I am excited to find out how they do when we actually have good weather this summer. With how it performs so far I am pretty confident we won't have more than the basic bill from PGE. Thank you Sunpath team for a job well done!

I cannot recommend Sunpath highly enough. I have a small older solar system in which the inverter had died. I contacted several solar companies and they did not want to bother servicing a replacement inverter. Two that did say they would come out to give an estimate charged $189 an hour and much higher. One wanted a contract before coming out! Chet came out, without a charge, to troubleshoot and followed up promptly with an estimate. At no time did I feel pressured to buy. He clearly explained the replacement and charges. Chet and Jake arrived when scheduled and communication was always clear and prompt. And now I have a system up and running at a reasonable cost.Thank you Chet and Jake!
