From my first interaction, Chet and SunPath have been an absolute pleasure to work with. I reached out to several companies initially, but soon realized how many have become national, corporate, sales-oriented entities. It was the complete opposite from Chet and SunPath...local, attentive, customer-oriented. Responsiveness and communication were top-notch. The installers were courteous and extra careful with my brand new metal roof on which the panels were installed. I am planning to use them again and give my whole-hearted recommendation to anyone looking to offset the shocking (get it?) rise in electricity costs in Portland-Metro area.

Sunpath had excellent communication throughout the project. They weren’t ever pushy to “close a deal” and let me initiate the conversation and take my time to decide if I wanted to proceed while I got multiple quotes. When I ultimately chose Sunpath, for what I saw as the best value, they kept me in the loop throughout the entire process and the actual install only took 1-day (32 panels). I’d recommend Sunpath to anyone looking to add Solar to their home.

I got qoute from almost a dozen companies and most of them send a sales person whose job is to push for you to get solar so that they can collect their commission. But I never feel pressured by Sunpath, which I liked very much. The quality of workmanship is evident in the final product. The solar panels have been performing excellently, and I'm thrilled with the energy savings I'm already seeing. In conclusion, if you're considering solar panels for your home, I highly recommend Sunpath Services.

I had an excellent experience with Sunpath Solar Services and would absolutely recommend them. I got bids from six other solar installers before choosing Sunpath, and while their price per kWh was the most competitive, that wasn’t the only reason I went with them. What really stood out was how detailed and transparent their bid was. They broke out the material costs, labor, and even their profit margin. None of the other companies gave me that level of detail. It made the whole process feel much more honest and straightforward, and I never felt like I was being pushed into anything. I got my bid in June 2025, signed the contract in July 2025, and the system was installed in August 2025. Communication through the whole process was excellent, including leading up to the install and during inspection and permitting. I mostly worked with Chet, who I believe is the owner/principal, and he was responsive, clear, and easy to work with. I also appreciated that their production estimate was more conservative and realistic than the other bids I received. They estimated around 15 MWh for the year, and it looks like we may end up closer to 19 MWh, so the system has performed very well. Overall, Sunpath was transparent, low-pressure, competitive on price, and great to work with from start to finish. I’m very happy we chose them.

I had an exceptional experience from start to finish. I reached out and got a proposal from Chris much faster than other companies. Then one of the owners, Chet, came out to confirm accuracy and explain a few things about the potential install. Maggie, the product manager, answered any remaining questions and continued to answer questions after the install. The install team finished within a day and passed inspection the first time around which I guess is somewhat rare according to my inspector. The one thing that stood out the most aside from their extremely competitive pricing was the timely communication from their entire team. When dealing with contractors communication is normally my number one complaint so I was pleasantly surprised.

Sunpath recently completed a 12 kwh home system for me - they were professional from start to finish. Timelines and cost/payment structure were as we discussed, and I always knew what to expect from them. I vetted multiple local installers and they were a clear choice for me.
