Family has been coming here for years, recommended I go here. Took 2 weeks, they wouldn't do rush orders even for extra, and found out after doing business that they charge several times more for basic alterations than other shops. To get one sports coat altered cost me as much as the sports coat did. Each.

We used Ray’s for a rush alteration of a wedding gown. The ladies were friendly and had it done when promised and the work looks good. She even hand stitched a few beads we had noticed were loose.

Prior to coming to Ray’s Alterations, I read the reviews and of course went straight to the negative ones to see what people complained about the most. I noticed that the very few people who had negative reviews made comments about the staff being rude and not getting the job done in a timely manner. I don’t normally write reviews but I feel like this place definitely deserves one! I want to start by saying that I was greeted and treated with nothing but respect and professionalism from Yolanda, Patricia, and Rosie. After going to another alterations shop and receiving poor service, the employees here went above and beyond to assist me with getting my shirt back to me that same day, which I did not think was possible! My shirt was fixed and my day was made so much better thanks to these ladies. Overall, I have no complaints and I have nothing but positive things to say about Ray’s Alterations. If you need any dry cleaning or alterations done to your clothes, I would highly give this place a go. I will definitely be coming back here and will be recommending this business to others. Rays Custom Cleaners is AMAZING! I was referred to them for Wedding Dress alterations by a former employee. I brought my dress by to have it taken in, length altered and a belt added amongst other items. The ladies here are so sweet, kind and knowledgeable. Turn around time is quick and the product is wonderful!! My dress was my pride and joy and I felt like I was dropping my baby off with them. Well my “baby” was safe! I cannot thank them enough! Thanks to them, I will have a beautiful dress on my wedding day in 15 days! THANK YOU

I was “that person,” who waited last minute and before I knew it, it was a week before I was to be out of town to see family for the holiday and I needed alterations for the outfit I was supposed to wear. I rushed to Rays a week before I needed the pants to see what they could do. Their typical turn around time is two weeks, but after explaining my situation, she agreed to have them done before I left out of town. (This is during the holidays!!! I was asking a lot!!) They were ready for me on time, fit perfect, and looked beautiful for my event. I am forever grateful. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Will be returning soon!

My experience with Ray's has been phenomenal! My clothing has been dry cleaned and brought back to life here. I have had coats, suit jackets fitted and pants hemmed by the personnel here. People, do not underestimate the quality of seamstresses and tailors who know this art. I have had only good experiences with the hard working hands of the ladies who work here! The service is prompt and the prices are reasonable considering this economy and inflation we are experiencing. You know what's funny is the fact that many of these so called "upscale clientele" and people of a certain economic class are the first ones to complain of the prices of goods and services they seek. Sorry to let you know that we are living in 2022 at the time of me writing this review. Times change, COVID has changed the way we live and inflation has changed this economy! Sorry to tell you that this isn't the 90's or early 2000's anymore when you could get alterations and dry cleaning done for the price you haggled for back in the day. The prices are actually very fair for the hard work done. If the price does not fit your budget then look elsewhere, you are being cheap for the quality hard work done here. You could go elsewhere and haggle for a cheaper price and find shirts with broken buttons or mediocre work but not at Ray's! See for yourself that quality comes with a price, and these guys are awesome! Thank you Ray's!

If you advertise same day alterations for an extra $15 charge, it is less than professional and ethical to not quote the full price at the time of drop off and then gouge the customer with an excessive fee for the work done. Be aware and demand a price up front or you might be very surprised.

We love Ray’s Custom Cleaners and Alterations. I use the weekly service provided at my condo building and it’s been a time saver. My clothes always look perfect. The alteration ladies get things right the first time for a custom fit. Thank you!!!!

Rays always does a great job with alterations. I’ve had the waist in so many of my jeans taken in there- if I ever have an issue they are happy to fix things without extra charge. The women who work alterations are very nice and efficient.

I flew into Ft Worth from Chicago for my nieces wedding and realized my dress, which was velvet, was way too long especially since I now depend on a walker. I called the hotel, they recommended Ray's. So I called and Patricia told me to bring it in when I got to town. I did and she had it back to me, hemmed perfectly, in time for the wedding. Thanks Patricia, you are the best!!
