There are many friendly and courteous employees at this Publix location. However, one prompted me to inquire to discover his name for the purpose of this review. I typically don't arrive at Publix until later in the evening about 30 minutes before the store closes. This particular evening, I intended to purchase cilantro for my guacamole. Sadly, I arrived to find the cilantro had been relocated for the night to its fresh storage. To avoid making another trip to the store, I asked the gentleman I often found tending carefully to this area for assistance. He went to the stock room and returned with the perfect amount of fresh and vibrant cilantro. I was so grateful and thanked him for stopping his nightly duties to assist me. His heartfelt response was "That's why we're here and our job is to take care of our customers, so it's no trouble at all" I will not soon forget this experience and want to relay a special thank you to Tracy in the fresh produce area of Publix. He is a top-notch gentleman who takes pride in his job, and it shows!
First of all, the Publix at East San Marco is a real gem. Well managed. Efficient. All the things that you would hope for in a supermarket. But even in this super supermarket, the Deli and its employees stand out. Especially Anna, one of the exceptional counter ladies. Courteous. Hard-working. Always makes a special effort to make sure the customer is well served. She's helped me on a number of occasions and she's always helped me. The deli managers and the people in the back preparing all the food are equally exceptional. They really make a special effort to go the extra mile to serve their customers. Believe me, it's noticed. And It Is Appreciated! Thank you. Thank you Anna! From the top to the bottom, this is a class act department at the the East San Marco Publix. Check it out.
We love this Publix location, but since it is small they carry less items. The parking is also a bit of a nightmare during the peak times. My favorite thing about this store is that the staff here is always so kind and helpful!
We visited for the first time recently and the garage/elevator entrance had us feeling like we were back in Europe. Great design! Very clean inside. Great produce and friendly staff.
I love going here for the seafood. It's always fresh and I haven't experienced anyone that wasn't willing to help. Most close the seafood department around 8pm. They allow you to get seafood until the store closes. I got there a few mins after 9pm and they were pleasant and the seafood was already prepackaged by pounds.

The best Grocery Chain in the world! So clean and well stocked. Under cover parking garage. Ride the elevator up to get into the store. The deli sandwiches are wonderful. They also have an outdoor dining area too. Highly recommend.
We went there to get subs for lunch as we had heard so much about them. Got up to the counter, absolutely no soft rolls, had one multi grain roll and 5 regular rolls. The multi grain and regular roll was so hard we couldn't eat them. Ended up bringing the sandwiches home and putting them on regular bread to eat. Other than that it is a very unique shopping experience.
Easy to get in and out very nice layout will shop again!
