Absolutely awful. The guy at the counter was friendly and knowledgeable. He told me that a large cappuccino "for here" came in a round porcelain cup. It matters so that the espresso and milk can blend together and allow for a reasonable temperature. Then the woman making it ruined the entire experience. The espresso was terrible and flavorless, the milk was scorched, the foamed milk was entirely the wrong texture and they served it in a large to-go cup without asking me. On top of the product itself, the woman kept giving me and everyone in my family very rude looks without saying anything. She forgot to make a drink for someone else in my party and failed to actually announce when any of the drinks were done. Overall, terrible. Avoid at all costs.
The place could be so pleasant and a restful place to stop for a coffee and bite to eat. Rating it three stars as some attention to cleanliness would be greatly appreciated! Floor is littered with food and dirty. Please take pride in your beautiful train station.
The espresso was good. They use Monin syrups for their drinks. Unfortunately the espresso machine won’t function until about 30 mins after the shop open. If you want espresso drink, try be there around 7am onward not at the opening time.
Parisi is the best!! I work in Union Station so I visit the cafe there quite often. The employees are always super friendly and they make delicious drinks. The plastic cups they have are actually plant based and biodegradable and they now even have strawless lids! If you do need a straw though, it’s also plant based! They offer milk alternatives such as almond and oat milk, and the cafe itself has a nice, relaxing atmosphere. If you’re ever in Union Station I definitely recommend checking it out!!
Stopped in because it was on my way to a church conference. Extremely good drip coffee. Some savory breakfast sandwiches would've been nice (only sweet pastries) but it's possible it was low because I visited on a Sunday.
Baristas were very friendly and greeted me quickly. I ordered a large latte and it was barely warm. I hope next time I visit they will warm the milk a little longer so I can enjoy their coffee nice and hot like it should be!
Stood outside the gate waiting for the Barista to open up. It said Sunday 6:30am and at 6:45am I was still waiting while the Batista was having her coffee. I had to leave to catch the train at 6:50am. All I can say is I hope this Barista enjoyed her coffee and you have lost my business.
Just had a breakfast sandwich for lunch. Awesome! Great, friendly service.
Not only was the coffee amazing, but the wonderful people that work at this place helped me and the little girl I care for when no one else would. They gave us a bag of ice and actually cared that her head was hurt. Just amazing customer service but also just amazing people in general.
A very relaxed and sheik atmosphere complimented by some of the best coffee I've ever had. To top it off, the staff were friendly and patient. I'll definitely be returning if I come tour through KC again.
