I don’t know how they have so many great reviews. The staff lacked personality and the coffee was so bad. I had to ask where a lid and sleeve were and the girl lazily waved her hand and mumbled just enough in the direction of where they were. The iced latte was basically milk and vanilla flavoring. She may have even forgotten to put the espresso in since it was so overpowered with flavored milk. I ordered 2 different hot lattes and none of could tell which was which because they were both quite bitter. I paid $16 plus tip to just throw all three full lattes in the trash and mediocre (at best) service. I love to support and try local business but I will definitely be passing on this place for now on. Thankfully Starbucks is in Crown Center close by I can get my coffee fix when visiting Union Station. 0/10, absolutely do not recommend.
I had the quiche, an espresso and a drip coffee. All were delicious. They serve in ceramics cups and mugs if you are dining in.
the iced caramello is one of the best drinks I've ever had, and the atmosphere is laid back and relaxing. this a great spot to go to while you're waiting for a train, but don't waste your money on the pastries. i got the croissant and the danish and they were both overcooked, stale, hard, and flavorless. it seems like they have a few other options to choose from, so give something else a shot :)
Good chai and solid breakfast burrito. Wish it was easier to get stuff when passing through KC on the train was easier, but otherwise pretty good!
My most recent visit to this Parisi location was to provide a short tour to some guests from out of state. I've been coming to Parisi at Union Station since my first visit in the summer of 2021. They've always had good coffee and clean seating in the back of their shop. One of my favorite things about this location is its unique view of Union Station. I removed a star because our pastries were served room temp rather than warm. I was excited for my guests to try the pop-tarts and it was underwhelming when they mentioned it was room-temp. Aside from the poptarts, we ordered a variety of coffees. I enjoyed an iced matcha with honey and lavendar syrup! Tasty as always.
A must stop if you visit Union Station. The coffee is some of my favorite in KC and the pumpkin scone was better than I imagine.
This cafe is very convenient when you're getting on an early train and need a good quick breakfast and quality coffee. They also have lots of sandwiches you could purchase and take with you on the train for later.
I stopped in for a latte before boarding a train to STL. I noticed a latte called "blue velvet." It uses butterfly pea powder to get the bright blue color and I had only heard of people using this in the Caribbean, so I was intrigued. I ordered and went to the back, more hidden seating area to enjoy it. It was very delicious! Their business hours seemed great for train riders as well as tourists and the front seating area was nearly full when I ordered.
Architect, taste, coffee, Kwaaaswann, they have it allllll. Place has a different vibe. Sooo chill. Tons of seating. You can either be in the cafe orrrrr "at the station" 😉. We got in line and there were these French college kids ahead of us. Well, that group went from 2 kids to 12 in a hurry while we were just waiting behind them. Props to Amber for serving our order (Cortado and Pumpkin latte) first. Super cool of ya! The staff is fun and my drink tasted delicious
Great spot to grab a coffee! Their pastry and food selection isn’t the best, but they have a few good options. If you’re just needing some caffeine, it’s a great option. The coffee is very tasty and high quality. I recommend
