We sat down for drinks and food. Emma was our server. She was bubbly, personable, and made us feel very relaxed and comfortable. Very accommodating and helpful. A delightful spot! Amazing cocktails! Exquisite vibes!
I work near by and decided to come by after work with a coworker to unwind with a drink and a small bite to eat. The bar is absolutely the jewel of the lobby and provides an intimate setting for any get together. I've been frequenting there for a few years now and have become somewhat of a "regular". Normally, the staff and drinks make this a fantastic way to unwind after work, however today was the complete opposite. As we were walking up the escalator to head to the bar with my friend, I heard a bit of a commotion in the lobby and I turn and see a gentleman (what I would assume as a manager) yelling at one of the servers. I couldn't really understand what he was making such a big scene about, but no employee should endure such verbal harassment in the work place, let alone in front of guests. It was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. While I don't know the entire story or what led up to it, but it completely took the relaxed mood from the room. We then took the escalator back down and walked out. Sorry this happened, but I will not be returning if I see that manager again on the floor.
We had the best time at afternoon tea! David R. was our server, and he was the most delightful presence. The food was lovely, and David was so attentive, knowledgeable, and kind! We are looking forward to our next tea :)
Well crafted, inventive and strong drinks. Small snacks are nice, not many choices for vegetarians though. The service was quite slow - even though they weren't too busy - it was very difficult flagging down our server. Would definitely recommend for a fancy drink, but probably not for a small meal which would involve multiple interactions with the staff.
A classy place to hang out in downtown Seattle. I recently enjoyed their hummus platter and my son loved his very substantial kids burger.
The waiter was not engaged as one would think with a high profile establishment, he took his time and was condescending. With the price you pay-$48 for two brandies, I would expect top customer service.
We were really excited to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat while visiting the iconic Olympic Hotel. Unfortunately, the service in the lounge was a major letdown. We were seated at a dirty table and waited 15 minutes before we had to find a server ourselves. After our food arrived, we had to track down another server just to get cutlery. Super disappointing, especially in such a beautiful spot.
They have a great variety of unique and inventive cocktails. The bartenders know how to make a good drink. Unfortunately, they don't know how to provide good service. It was a pretty calm night, about 90 minutes before closing. From the time I finished my drink to being closed out it took a half hour. With 4 people behind the bar I'd expect that they can at least let you leave in a timely manner. If you go here, the atmosphere and drinks are lovely, carve out extra time because it is not an efficient place to swing into.
