Oak Lawn Auto is one of the best reliable and honest mechanic shops around. Never had a problem with my repairs on my Mazda and always a reasonable price. Staff is knowledgeable about cars and gets the job done quick! Excellent customer service they have here.
Beware! These guys are frauds. My car was running fine and I went for new brakes and after that I was back 4 more times with different problems with my car. My indicator lights would go on a few days to a week after having my car at this place. I threw thousands into my car after seeing these guys and my car isn't that old! This has happened to my family as well! I should have known better after all of the problems. Go somewhere else. I hope you see this and stop ripping off innocent people.
I have used the services of Oak Lawn Auto since 2016. They have done great work for me and my son. John and George are good guys and they really go out of their way to help you with your auto needs. They don't just see you as a customer but a person. I really appreciate what they have done to help me and my son with our auto needs. God bless them both!

Simply a mechanic you can trust. Great job and skills. High end service and the best crew. Did a very extensive repair in a Saturday. The car came back better than it comes out from the dealer. A work of a perfectionist. If you go there once you will never let any other mechanic to touch your car. It worth every single dollar you pay.
Extremely reliable and affordable service! I used to take my BMW to other auto services only to be ripped off time and time again. I brought my car here one day and after going to Oak Lawn Auto, I feel like I've finally found my auto "spot". George is always really helpful and professional when answering questions and following up. Don't have to deal with a long wait time only to have a long bill at the end like other places.
UPDATE : One of the employees Elias did reach out to me about this issue to apologize for any misunderstanding and that definitely counts for something in my book. They wanted to rectify the issue but I already got my breaks done elsewhere. They did offer a discount if I ever come back and truly sounded apologetic so thank you for that! Don’t get me wrong the employees were very nice but the prices were insane for just my front breaks (pads and rotors) I ended up taking it to another shop without disclosing any information about my previous experience at this shop and the first thing I was asked was who did my front breaks? As if I had a friend did it , saying it was done unprofessionally. I ended up telling them it was actually done at shop and the price I paid and he was shocked! He couldn’t believe I paid what I did for the job that was done. I brought my car in with barley a squeak and left with the worst grinding noise I’ve ever heard. I was terrified to drive. Took it back just for them to say it was the back breaks that they supposedly didn’t touch even though it never made that noise before. This was all within a week mind you. I just couldn’t help but feel like I was being taken advantage of the whole time. safe to say I won’t be going back unfortunately..
George and George did a great job helping me plug my tires. They were quick, efficient, and were so friendly. Could not have a better experience with this shop! I will definitely be back. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who needs help!
Brought in my BMW for an aftermarket downpipe install and the experience was top notch from the communication, scheduling, quality of work, and turn around time. George and John are fantastic guys and really know what they are doing. Fast and honest work and the price was very reasonable. They got me scheduled the next day and I was in and out within a few hours. I couldn't be happier. Never taking my car anywhere else.
