Nolan Transportation Group (NTG) - Austin

I chose Freightpros because they found me a really good quote for my shipment. I paid and after a week I received my item. It was a bit damaged but I was happy with the price I paid and happy just to finally receive the arcade I always wanted. Fast forward to almost two weeks later, I get an email saying I will be charged almost $300 more because the item was actually a different class. I think that is not right, they can just charge you whatever they want after the fact! I’ve already been charged this extra amount and I just feel helpless.

The worst shipping service of all time. DO NOT USE THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!! look what they do to your products. ANIMALS COULD DO BETTER JOB. This is how is left and this how it was returned. UPDATE: their insurance is a scam as well.

We give them a lot of business but their customer service is abysmal. They messed up a consignee’s phone number and so the freight company couldn’t schedule the delivery. NTG charged us $1,000 for 2 weeks of storage. I have emailed them 6-7 times during the course of 4 months asking them why they never reached out to us asking for a different phone number. They sent me an internal timeline showing they were aware of the bad number since before the storage charges began. So the only conclusion is that they wanted the storage charges to accrue so that they could charge us. The shipment was $200 and storage was $1,000. Bait and switch. They keep saying they will get to the bottom of it but they never do. And this only when they respond. They usually just ignore the emails and I’ve emailed 3 different people already. And then eventually they resend the invoice as if there hasn’t been months long dialogs contesting the charges. I would avoid them. It’s not worth the headache and unprofessionalism. No joke. 4 months now and no one will tell us why they never asked the shipper for a working number, even though they had the right number from the beginning and transcribed it incorrectly.

Very bad service for me from NTG I called for 10 times for lumber fee to pay because my card was not working. After I get Money from one of my friend then pay after I pay immediately within second they respond my email . Also waited 5 hours they don’t want pay detention. Watch this company . Stay away from this company. Very unprofessional people and if you have any problem good luck finding any solution because they will not help at all. Had a shipment with them with liftgate and residential fees. When carrier was not able to deliver to my house for 2 weeks and I had to go 5 hours drive to pick up from their terminal. I did not get my Residential and liftgate delivery fee back. They will not pick up your call and if you will leave a voicemail you will never hear from them. Just bunch of unprofessionalism.

This is funny. Trust me. Nolan quoted us $286.24 for a small shipment. Then the invoice came back at $1,297.35, mostly due to 14 days of storage fees. The freight company contacted Nolan several times to get a good number for the consignee but Nolan didn’t respond for a very long time. Nolan never reached out to us for the correct number. Here’s the funny part. They had the correct number all along, they just entered it wrong on the bol. I still don’t know how someone can mess up the last two digits, which should have been 94 but Nolan entered 88…not even close! I disputed the charge with Nolan in November of 2024. I was largely ignored. Then in December I was told: “we’ve just been discussing internally and with the carrier. We have good reps on your account who will get this resolved.” I didn’t hear anything back for over a month. I emailed them Feb 4th asking for someone to respond. Again, I was ignored. Then on Feb 5th they charged the full amount of the invoice. You can’t help but laugh at this. Look at the photo. Nolan was asked several times for the correct phone number and they were even mailed a certified letter by the carrier because they were non responsive. So, they didn’t respond to the carrier, they didn’t email us for a correct phone number, they didn’t reply to our emails, they said they have good people working on the issue, and then just charged us the full amount without asking if they could charge our credit card. We charged it back with our credit card company and won of course. Now, nearly a year later they are threatening to sue us. Look at the new invoice total that they sent us. The balance due is higher than the charge amount. These people are beyond incompetent but it’s all really funny to me. I would avoid these losers at all costs.

I want to applaud the customer service at FreightPros. Specifically, I want to compliment the exceptional service of Joshua Campos. Freight shipping can be an expensive nightmare! Our company found FreightPros and will not go elsewhere due continuously being offered the best prices in shipping and receiving the upmost care from our shipping agent when an issue arrives. Joshua responds quickly, communicates clearly, goes out of his way to help meet our request and help us solve any shipping issue we encounter. Thank you, Joshua, for making our business possible and relieving so much of our stress with your sincere efforts.

I've been working with FreightPros for 4 years now. What a great group of people! In a time when customer service is often forgotten, the folks at FreightPros are top of the line. I always get a fast response, even when I have to leave a voicemail. We are infrequent freight shippers and using FreightPros has taken the stress out of any shipping we have to do. The customer service from this company was outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised, each time I called, I spoke to a real person. I did not have to leave messages, or repeat my conversation. Shelby did an outstanding job. She provided detailed information on the process. She was polite, courteous and helpful. Questions about tracking my item were answered promptly by Darius. Understanding the delivery time is an estimate, I was prepared for any delays. TForce freight handled the actual delivery. Again knowing pickup and delivery were estimated I was able to arrange a pickup call before they came the day after they were suppose to. The crate arrived at the destination without a mark on it. The driver who picked up the crate was friendly and helpful. I would definitely use and recommend FreightPro for any further business.

I have used Freightpros for a year now and Andrea and her team have always been outstanding. The time from requesting a quote to receiving a quote is about 30 minutes to 1 hour, and she helps me get the trickiest of freight deliveries happen! I have stuff coming in and out constantly and Andrea always makes the process seamless.
