Very good breakfast sandwich! Quite filling and good flavors. Busy on a Sunday morning, but wait time was not too bad.
Come to Mighty Bread a few times a month and have tried most of the menu. Everything is great. The prosciutto mozzarella sandwich might be my favorite in the city
Iced matcha latte wasn’t that good. Matcha was clumpy and it just tasted like oat milk. I got charged extra for ice but all the ice had melted by the time I received it and it was warm :/ I saw a customer get served a burnt baguette too…
Best sourdough bread in Philadelphia. I have been ordering for pickup every week since they moved to online ordering. Every Tuesday or Friday, sometimes I went there both days. I never regret trying this place out. Their Seeded and Three Cheese Sourdough are my favorite. Sometimes I also switch to Sesame or Everything Sourdough. I am always happy with what I get. Also, their Cultured Butter is super good on Seeded Sourdough. They also have Sesame Ciabatta, which is also delightful.
Manager needs to provide better customer service - I had just finished paying and asked to add a coffee and they told me I couldn’t have it unless I got back in line - the manager spent 3 minutes chatting with his staff about it - the time he could have spent making the additional one - just poor poor service. They get two stars because while the cashier is nice the rule from this manager is ridiculous- I’d just spent over $100 but sometimes a false sense of self importance gets in the way.
My son Dash and I are semi-regular‘s at Mighty Bread. We cannot say enough good things about this place! Although their food is truly outstanding and I could eat their bread and baked goods 24 hours a day, the difference at. Mighty Bread is the staff. This is an impressive fee, considering it is a semi-self service restaurant and bakery. Everyone is incredibly kind and friendly and goes the extra mile to just be nice and fun! The little cup of donut holes that they brought to our table didn’t hurt either! Dash, who is nine, wanted to make sure you were aware that this is “the best breakfast of his life.” Honestly, he’s a bit of a breakfast connoisseur so I would believe him.
Takes hidden gem to a whole new meaning. On a small side street that looks more like a bicycle trail than a street. Even with that I still got a parking spot in front. Delicious bread and sandwiches.. well worth the trip!
Such amazing and flavorful bread. Got the sesame sourdough for $7. I usually cut and freeze my bread and it’s lasted me three weeks. 100% recommend for good, tasty bread
Been coming here couple years or so now.. They are so disloyal and rude to repeat local customers. Aside from one employee Mateo.... who is so amazing & professional and does everything & anything for repeat locals.. But she's hidden in the back now. But 8 out of 10 times thete out of food or bread. And it feels like you're talking to someone used to working at a bank. And don't ask for a refill... it's makes them angry. They are really nice to young girls though. I've worked at enough restaurants to know they all handle close to kitchen food production times in 2 ways. They either stop right at the hour posted on there web sites/ inside info signs. Or they actually start stopping things for about an hour or so before the listed food serving stop times. And again. Full prices for refills with hostile-esque treatment. Which is don't need for just something simple as going out for iced coffee on a crazy hot day. Thank you for making a local feel welcome after 2 years or so. But then again the turnover is terrible here.... aside from the rude chick.. and the other good employee Mateo who is in a different position in the back preparing food. The food is really good though... too bad. I don't need to feel hated enough to come back. That's not what dining out is all about
I love this place. Philly is graced with some great bakeries and Mighty Bread is one of the top one for sure. Ive been a fan for years and am in love with so many of their products I get in my local river wards market. Also, stopping at their cafe is an extreme treat; love the vibe, the food is mind-blowing and they're always super friendly.
