🐝 Service was excellent! Had a wide variety of homemade bread and pastries. Great for vegetarians! would highly recommend! However, always get there early because seating fills up quickly.

Picked up some bread and cookies while having breakfast. Great baked goods and breakfast was outstanding. My egg, cheese and bacon sandwich was delicious and the egg was essentially a perfect French omelette. My son’s salmon toast looked amazing and dotted with roe for the finishing touch. Pistachio and chocolate donuts were chewy, moist, flavorful. The line was out the door but the staff kept up and remained friendly and patient. I initially went there just looking for a good loaf of bread but ended up wanting to move there and work for free.

Such a positive experience this morning at mighty bread! My fiancee and I got there @ 8:50 and luckily we were first in line(they had a line down the block at 9am). Delicious bread, pastries, sandwiches, and drinks. Definitely recommend the bread and butter. The employees were great. I didn't catch her name, but there was an employee(she was wearing a bandana) that we had a great conversation with and she even gave us a small bag of the donut bites to try on our way out. *IT DOES GET BUSY(RIGHTFULLY SO!), SO PLAN ACCORDINGLY!)

Awesome bread and the best Boston creme donuts I’ve ever had!!!

Mighty Bread has some of the best bread that I have tasted. Situated one of the most beautiful streets in South Philadelphia, Mighty Bread has what you’d expect that a neighborhood cafe would have - soups, pastries (both savory and sweet) caffeinated beverages, etc. - their version is just better than most cafes. A nice bonus with this James Beard-nominated spot is that they have wonderful options in the shop for the pantry - spreads, spices, tinned fish, etc - and I’ve used some of these for picnics! Very tasty/quality goods👌🏽 One of the best vibes of a cafe in the city if you’re going to dine in.

Top 1 or 2 bakery in all of Philly. The ham and butter sandwich is unreal. Every special they have has blown me away. The bread is also unreal.

Philadelphia residents are sooo lucky to have this bakery! I have to travel 2 hours to find real sourdough breads. I went again today but I was too late as my favorite olive loaf was sold out. I bought the country loaf, seeded loaf, baguette and the toasted sesame loaf to share and enjoy making some fresh sandwich’s at home. I ordered the whipped feta and beat sandwich and it was fresh and very flavorful. A must visit while in Philadelphia. You won’t be disappointed.

Met a friend here for lunch and oh my god. Oh my godddddd. This is place is what I didn’t know I needed. The avocado toast? Sensational. Perfectly savory, and the pickled red onions were delicious. The chai had everything I want out of a chai latte. It was perfectly balanced between spicy and sweet. I also got a dark chocolate brownie and an orange ricotta tea cake to go with it. Both were perfectly moist and delicious. Not to mention the atmosphere is 10/10, like a little general store that smells amazing. And the staff was extremely friendly - I got a compliment on my perfume, which I love. I will be back, a lot.

We stopped by on Sunday afternoon. It was busy but we had no problem getting a table. We ordered avocado toast, mozzarella and prosciutto sandwich and latte. Food looked beautiful and everything was delicious. My husband’s sandwich was big and had lots of mozzarella and prosciutto. My avocado toast was amazing and egg on top was cooked perfectly. Latte was beautiful and had great taste and good foam. Everyone was very friendly. We would definitely come back.

I'll admit, I'm a donut skeptic. So many places over promise and/or have crazy toppings, but the donuts themselves are so-so. Mighty Bread's Sweet Potato Brioche Boston Cream was probably the best donut I've ever had. On top of that, the service was super friendly and the atmosphere was really cute!
