I'm honestly disappointed in myself for not having come here sooner. The brunch menu is simple: some breakfast options like quiche, scrambled eggs, avocado toast, breakfast sandwich. Then some solid sandwich options, in addition. We went with the apple & cheddar baguette with turkey. Delicious. The bread was super crunchy and the mustard was such a nice complement to the apples and meat. Also got the tozzino. Not usually a huge focaccia fan, but this was quite nice and the soppresatta was great. Always going to love burrata and this was done well. Finally, grabbed a tomato bread with cheese which was like a mini pizza and excellent-the crust was delectable. Grabbed some of the pastries to go, all of which looked amazing. We came at a good point as we were able to snag a table but I can see it being difficult when it gets busy. Line moves quickly and the service is fast. Would definitely come back. Wish I had tried the soup on the cold day we went so will likely be going with that next time.
The bread here is exceptional—some of the best in the city. Unfortunately, that's where the praise ends. The service is consistently apathetic; it often feels like the staff would rather be anywhere else. You're rarely acknowledged, let alone greeted. And the wait? Up to 30 minutes for a basic breakfast sandwich, which is absurd unless they’re harvesting the wheat out back.

This place was life changing! I absolutely loved everything that I got which included the kale salad, apple/cheddar sandwich, sesame loaf, and a double chocolate cookie. Can't wait to go back and try everything else! Such great quality
I could eat here every day! Everything I've ever had from Mighty Bread is fresh and delicious.The breads and baked goods are certainly among the best in the city and the sandwiches and other fare could not be better. The orange ricotta teacake is my favorite dessert here. So good! Take one home. The young people who make up the staff are pleasant, friendly and efficient. Service is first rate and it's a wonderful homey-looking place that invites you to eat in. Go!

Great bakery and cafe that’s tucked away on one of the coolest streets in South Philly. Also serves alcohol. Family friendly.
This bread is absolutely exceptional while still being very reasonably priced. I will be coming back regularly for bread here
Mighty Bread is the best! I live right by the cafe so I have the pleasure of smelling their baked goods and bread every day. Their salads, pizza, seasonal quiches, coffee and olive loaf are to die for. The staff is very friendly, too!
