Super slow service- person at register in a daze, moving in slo-mo. vibe a bit off- kinda” I am so bored you are here I wont even make eye contact with you” Food great. Not for a quick drop in!
Amazing bread and other baked goods. Not only is everything really tasty, but it is all beautifully presented as well. At the time of this writing (August 2021), they are only open 2 days per week on Saturdays and Tuesdays. Be sure to get there early because they sell out of things very quickly. Also be prepared to wait in line, although it does move relatively quickly.
Got a seeded loaf, donut, and rye chocolate chip cookie. Seeded loaf and donut were very fresh and good, the rye chocolate chip cookie was delicious! Vibe is very cool and relaxed. We went around 10:00am on a Saturday and it was busy but there was room and nothing seemed to be sold out yet. Definitely would recommend for bread or pastries for a party or just a sandwich or donut in the morning.
Incredible sourdough bread created by a dedicated, hardworking, and friendly staff! All their food is excellent, some items are even better than I have tried anywhere else. Their bread making courses are a lot of fun and educational. It’s a “must go” place when in Philly. My only suggestion to the owners is to try and make the eating area less noisy. Obviously, the reason is because so many people love it, but it can be very difficult to have a conversation, even when it’s not packed.
Best sourdough bread. Very crunchy crust and moist and chewy on the inside. Definitely get the chocolate and walnut raisin while they are warm
The Avocado toast was very fresh, the egg perfectly cooked, and the salmon was delicious. The cappuccino was also perfect. The place is busy, but understandable given how amazing their food is.
I came in a hour before closing and got a chocolate croissant… and it was still delicious. I can’t imagine how good their goods are fresh. Definitely stop in ! Located on a cute street with plenty of seating . And the prices are so very reasonable. Also very friendly staff.

No notes! Everything was fantastic, this place is amazing. Arrived 5 minutes after opening on a Sunday, waited in line about 15 minutes and got one of the last tables for dine-in to give you an idea of how early you need to get there on a weekend, otherwise you’re just going to have to rely on luck to get a table. Well worth it though!
Food is always fantastic. This place doesn’t disappoint, so don’t pass it up. Great atmosphere, coffee, people, and food!
