This was a wonderful tour! Very informative and the neighborhood is so beautiful. We enjoyed all of the food tastings and our guide Cara was fabulous. A perfect way to enjoy Georgetown.
This foodie tour was so worth it! Jacob was a great guide! He was funny and very knowledgeable about the food and history of Georgetown. Highly recommend the tour! Belly full and beautiful scenery, you can't go wrong.
We had a great time w Elizabeth. She shared knowledgeable fun facts about DC and Georgetown while walking through beautiful neighborhoods and made four delicious stops. Though, I thoroughly enjoyed the vegetarian dishes, my husband would have enjoyed some meat protein.
The food tour was great. I'd rate it as a 5 and Lauren did a fantastic job. We had a good blend of historic sites into Georgetown along with great food selections.
Had a great food tour with Mangia DC. Our tour guide Elizabeth was very informative and personable as she fostered great conversation. Amazing food at four different stops and you will learn a lot as you walk through the historic Georgetown neighborhood. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to DC.
The Georgetown Food Tour with Jacob was a highlight of our D.C. trip! He blended history, humor, and hospitality perfectly. The food was amazing, the pacing was just right, and Jacob made the whole experience fun and memorable. Highly recommend—ask for Jacob!
My husband and I truly enjoyed Marsha' historical knowledge of the area and the background information about our food stops. The food and drink options were great that we went back to one of them after the tour to buy some goodies. We are locals and we thought that this tour was a hidden gem. We cannot wait to go on another tour!
We went on the Georgetown Foodie Tour yesterday and it was great. Marsha was an excellent tour guide and was very knowledgeable about Georgetown history and the food we tried. I’ve been on other food tours where you have tastes/samples at a number of places. This one was different because we only went to 4 places -but had a full serving of the food we were tasting. It was wonderful really getting to experience the food - and ended up needed a bag to take leftovers!! We’ll definitely do a Mangia Tour again- can’t wait for the Italian tour!
Wonderful experience in Georgetown! The food was excellent. But more importantly Milk shared the origin story of each establishment and how it contributes to the local cultural tapestry. The historical insights between stops brought the neighborhood alive. A highly recommended way to feel connected to this historic neighborhood in DC!
My husband and I are from the Maryland/Delaware area and we’re excited for the food tour in which our daughter gifted the Mangia DC food tour. Our tour guide was ‘Milk’ who guided us through the Georgetown neighborhood. Milk was knowledgable of the area with a wealth of enthusiasm and historical facts of Georgetown! There were four stops along way that we meandered our way through the residential neighborhood to get to each destination, with historical facts sprinkled along the way. I found this part fun for historical reasons. The food was delicious! Each stop had its own unique flair from around the globe. The last stop was a sweet treat! We really enjoyed this tour and even though we’re from the area, Washington, DC is a small city that is so unique on its own and is a lot of fun to discover what is in your own backyard! Enjoy and grazia!
