The tour was informational and outstanding food that I wouldn’t have normally been able to visit in such a short time. Jacob was knowledgeable and very personable. Would definitely do another tour when I get the chance.
The Georgetown Foodie tour was excellent! Four restaurants, vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and they picked the best of the best. Our tour guide took great care of us, sharing some history along the way and was very knowledgeable of the area. I highly recommend and would definitely do another tour through this business!
Wow! What a great experience and fun birthday tour. We had a 2-hour private tour of "Off the Beaten Path Georgetown" and it was perfect for our group. Many great fun facts and delicious bites! Our tour guide, Jacob, was great. From the first moment, he made us feel comfortable being ourselves, sharing our pronouns and easily accommodating our dietary restrictions. 10/10 would recommend Mangia for your next food experience!
We are so glad we booked our food tour with Mangia DC. Cara was the best! She shared so much interesting history, plus she was just fun! We also absolutely loved each of the delicious things we ate. Be sure to come with with an empty stomach. Each bite is worth it!
Absolutely loved this tour! I have been in the DMV for 10 years and don’t come out to Georgetown much and this tour showed us some very cool spots and amazing restaurants. Truly enjoyed taking my bff and her sister on this tour. Our tour guide Jacob knew his stuff and led the tour effortlessly! Would highly recommend and wish they would do more in different locations.
We were visiting the Washington DC Area from the San Francisco Bay Area for my Neonatal Nursing Conference with the Academy of Neonatal Nursing. I found a Georgetown Food Tour with Mangia DC Tours with Trip Advisor. Ben was outstanding as our Tour Guide. Gabe also came out to assist with our Tour to make it very special for our group. We had such a wonderful time savoring vegetarian and meat cuisines in Georgetown as we also learned about the history and culture of the area. We highly recommend Mangia DC Food Tours for an introduction to the hidden delicious culinary gems of Georgetown with a walking tour of historical sites and knowledge that is fun and interesting.
This Georgetown food tour was great!! Our tour guide Jacob was very knowledgeable and passionate about the area and the food, which made the tour fun, informative and absolutely amazing! I also loved that he did not rush the tour. He gave the group just the right amount of time to enjoy the food and the scenery! Also, I liked that he encouraged the group to interact with each other - he did a break the ice intro at the beginning. That made the group tour even more enjoyable!

Had a great walking food tour of Georgetown with Elizabeth today. It was unseasonably warm, and she made sure we had cool drinks as we walked on the shady streets. The four restaurants we sampled had amazing dishes, and Elizabeth was super knowledgeable about both the restaurants and the historic buildings we passed. Would definitely recommend for someone coming from out of town and looking to get to know Georgetown, or for locals who want to try some new places.
We thoroughly enjoyed all of the restaurant stops and walking throughout the neighborhoods of Georgetown. Elizabeth was quite knowledgeable and kept the tour interesting, sharing many fun facts along the way. The portions were generous and it was a great mix of foods we hadn’t tried before. We highly recommend this food tour!
