MAA 220 Riverside

Great place for a home! Wonderful staff and very responsive. Location is awesome and never had any problems while living there for almost two years. Highly recommended!

I strongly advise against moving into this apartment complex. My experience has been nothing short of distressing, especially following a recent incident involving my puppy. On July 14, 2024, my German Shepherd puppy, who is being trained as a service dog, was viciously attacked by another tenant's aggressive dogs in the lobby. Despite clear evidence and the attack being caught on camera, management's response has been woefully inadequate. Instead of taking meaningful action to ensure our safety, they offered to move me to another unit in the same building and told the other tenant to walk her dogs one at a time. I may also wait 60 days, then pay over $3400 to end my lease early. Shockingly, the tenant continues to walk both dogs together, violating management's weak directives without consequence. Moving to another unit does not solve my issue, as I run into these dogs in the common areas regularly. Since MAA allows these dogs with known bite histories to continue living on their property, I now live in constant fear and anxiety. I am forced to take extreme measures to avoid these aggressive dogs, including using stairs despite my physical disability. The management’s indifference to our plight makes it clear that they see residents as mere numbers rather than human beings with valid concerns. For your safety and peace of mind, I urge you to look elsewhere for housing. This complex fails to provide a secure and compassionate living environment.

Lived here for about 9 months now. Michelle in the leasing office is helpful and super kind, but I would personally consider some of the other staff to be incompetent and lacking social skills. The garage has been BROKEN for 3 weeks now, resulting in our motorcycle being STOLEN and the ignition being taken out from the other. The main reason we moved here was to have "Controlled Access Entry/Parking," as stated on their website and during our tour, since motorcycles are stolen quite often. Staff continues to not allow us to post about it in the community bulletin board. The "security" for the garage at the time just takes occasional pictures throughout the garage and is also rarely present. Thankfully, Michelle was very cooperative and able to get access to the camera footage to provide to the police. I have a lot of negative things to say about living here, but I feel as though vehicular theft with a "Controlled Access Entry/Parking" garage should sum everything up. This is definitely not a place to call home.

Kalna did a great job showing the MAA 220 property! The property is very nice and she was super helpful explaining everything and answering questions.

My husband and I are soon moving into 220 Riverside with our dog, and I was a bit nervous with the moving situation. Luckily, Tyler made it all so easy and smooth. He took care of everything while providing us with the best offers. He was always available to speak to us and kept us updated about everything. Thank you, Tyler for such an amazing service to us!! Highly recommend!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this amazing community! Deana, the property manager has made my out of state move so easy! She was very patient, understanding and reliable. I love how she was always readily/easily available to answer any of my concerns. Best Property Manager I’ve ever experienced. Never rude or condescending. Very honest, willing to work around any kinks and make things easier for you and worth every penny. I give Deana 5 stars and this beautiful community. I was sold when I found out that it has smart home capabilities in the apartment and a freight elevator for easy moving! Thank you 220 Riverside for allowing me to be a resident!! Can’t wait to call this place home!! Again thank you Deana!!!

Do yourself a favor and move to The Bell at Riverside a mile down the road. I have had the misfortune of living at two different MAA properties and both have experiences have been awful. This specific location has: Thin walls and floors Constantly broken down elevators Constantly broken garage doors Cars being broken into Bicycles and motorcycles stolen from the “secure” garage Dogs using the stairwells, elevators, and hallways as bathrooms Bug infestation that management will charge tenants for Stolen packages The surrounding area around the building has: A lot of homeless people A lot of construction A burnt down crack den Traffic Do. Not. Live. Here.

Beautiful property! Lovin’ it here! Shout out to Michelle and her team in the leasing office.I moved here from another MAA property in another state and they made my transfer seamless. Also kudos to the maintenance techs! Always friendly and professional. Did I mention there’s a fabulous Mexican restaurant on the first level of the building and The Fresh Market and other eateries are a block away? Best community in Riverside!
