We are local to N. Seattle and went to SLU to visit a new bar. After paying $24 for a shot of average tequila we looked for another local bar and decided on Local.Great choice and awesome service an food. Chris our server was kind and and inviting as was the rest of the staff. Never let Chris go, he is the best part of your business! Food great and I would be back for that alone, staff makes it a ten!!
When I moved to Seattle from LA, I was not optimistic I would find a good neighborhood bar. Local has far exceeded my expectations. Despite the corporate environment, the staff is friendly and genuine. Chris, Kailey, and Shawn especially demonstrate really attentive service and great knowledge of the menu. The variety of flavors and allergy-friendly offerings make this a place I can conscientiously bring a work team for an event but also enjoy on my own.
I visited local public eatery for the first time a few days ago, and let’s just say my experience was nothing short of amazing. Yen was my server and she was the BEST. Her menu knowledge was out of this world and helped me curate a meal that I would love based on my likes and dislikes. She recommended the crispy potatoes and the steak frites and WOW. If you’re looking for a vibrant atmosphere and amazing food, stop by and ask for Yen. You will not be disappointed I promise.
Loved the place and the overall vibe! It’s a fun, lively spot with games and a great atmosphere. The food was amazing – I especially enjoyed the fish tacos, tempura shrimp, shrimp dumplings, and sweet potato fries. All super flavorful and well done. The Spicy Guava mocktail was also really refreshing and tasty. Just a heads-up: it’s probably not the best spot if you’re looking for a quiet, personal gathering – it’s more of a social, energetic environment. But if you’re in the mood for good food and a good time, definitely check it out!
We had such a great experience here, and Dane truly stood out. He was kind, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive with our whole group. Even with 7 of us and a child at the table, he made everyone feel taken care of without missing a beat. The food was excellent, but the service made the afternoon feel special. Dane was warm, professional, and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. Easy 5 stars, and we would happily come back.
Sophie was so friendly and lovely, took care of us for the brunch and we had a great time. I always enjoy the vibe and the great services here.
I'm visiting from Chicago, so needless to say I have pretty high standards for burgers and the like. I got myself an Ole Smoky, pricey but completely worth it if you like Whiskey/Old Fashions. I admittedly didn't read the description well the first time, but they got the blowtorch out and smoked my drink, it was crazy! Tasted delicious as well! Then I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, it had a nice sweet honey flavor with a slight bite to it. I loved it! Servers were very attentive, I had about 4 people check on me periodically, so there's great teamwork and camraderie there! A worker there named Maddie approached me and we talked a lot about why I was out here and what I was enjoying, and I really appreciated the casualness and comfort of it all. Excellent place to visit if you're from out of town for sure!
Kianna was the perfect server. She would always check on us whether it was for drink or just to see how the food was tasting. She even brought our meal out on individual plates as we split our order. Our burger was cooked just right and the fries were very delicious too. Highly recommend.
I planned a business lunch here, and the food was great! Atmosphere was super nice and walkable from our office is always a bonus. We had a little hiccup with our table size due to OpenTable not syncing with their system properly but the service recovery was outstanding. I got a very nice call the next day from the GM Nicole (and was messaging with Hadley). It was the perfect example of how to have a productive conversation when something doesn’t go right. We will definitely be returning! While they work out the OpenTable tech issues, I would just recommend if you have a large table to give them a quick call to make sure they have the capacity to seat everyone together at that time.
Dane was absolutely the BEST. Seriously one of the sweetest, most attentive people we’ve had serving us anywhere. We had a group of 7 plus a kid, and he paid attention to every little detail the entire time. Super courteous, engaging, and genuinely cared that everyone had a great experience. The food was awesome, but Dane honestly made day even better. Went above and beyond from start to finish. 5 stars all the way. Would definetly come back here for the food but Dane also made a stellar impression on us.
