Terrible check-in process and unprofessional staff at the front desk. There were about 10 kiosks and 5 workers, but only two were actually helping patients. The Hispanic man with the nose piercing was passive-aggressive when assisting, and the Hispanic woman with the tattoo sleeve was outright rude. She told me I was checked in, but when I got upstairs, I was told I had never been checked in at all — meaning she either didn’t do her job or purposely ignored it. On top of that, the whole check-in system makes no sense. I checked in on my phone and at their kiosk, only to still have to wait in line to see a staff member. If I’m doing all that, why do I still need to stand there for someone to “confirm” it? The only bright spot in my visit was Maria Rodrigues in Eligibility and the woman in Financial Assistance. Both were professional, compassionate, and efficient. They turned my experience around, but unfortunately, the disorganized and rude front desk staff made this clinic feel like a nightmare to deal with. Cheers to Miss Young! She was so sweet and accommodating—got me in and out quickly and was very respectful of my privacy. I know I left a negative review before about the check-in desk, but once you get past that part, everything else is excellent. Miss Young made my experience smooth and pleasant. 10/10, I still recommend!
The staff is helpful and polite. The cleanliness of the building is always poor and has been that way for years. I feel sorry for the staff and clients that work and get services in a poorly cleaned medical center. I have been inside multiple locations the the low cleanliness standard is unacceptable. Instead of all the advertising they should invest in a medical center that is actually clean.
Love this clinic, the staff always is so amazing and the phlebotomist they have on staff is so amazing first time every time and I am a hard stick normally but she is truly gifted.

Best option for full panel testing. Clean offices, the staff at the front desk was very welcoming, quick test and doctor visit. Would make this my first choice over any other place in the houston area.
Once again deined a refill even though the reasoning last time they need more labs did more labs that day and saw a doctor that day at the beginning of Oct but now can't get my meds . It always so fun when your clinic plays with health as if it a joke . Can't offer a solution to fix the problems nor tell me anything about the situation. It good to know this company only cares about the patient for money.
I started Legacy (COVID 20-21) after having no coverage I could afford through COBRA when laid off in Oil/Gas no more private Insurance. Thank God for the Affordable Health Care Act, I find Legacy just as capable IF not better than my former Private Doctors. The GYN, PCP, Nurse Practitioners and overall staff have been dedicated. Even when we have not always agreed on best treatment options for me, Every Nurse Practitioner in the past Andrea, Mary Sheppard and now my New Doctor Agrawal hear me out, Dr. Lavoris Brown Smith is effective too. Ultimately, I am responsible for my own health, which is my wealth and priceless. They have a lot of calls so stay patient on the phone or try to use the Portal to communicate. Thank God for Legacy in this season of my life.

I had such a great experience at Legacy Community Health Center, and I feel it’s important to recognize exceptional service when it truly makes a difference. VICTOR at the front desk was absolutely outstanding. After dealing with ongoing issues trying to get my prescription transferred to a new pharmacy and struggling to communicate with the doctor’s office, Víctor stepped in and handled everything with professionalism, urgency, and care. He didn’t just point me in another direction or give me the typical runaround—he took ownership of the situation and made sure it was resolved in a timely manner. That level of service is rare and incredibly appreciated. I also want to give a big thank you to Brian, the medical assistant, who supported the process and helped ensure everything moved forward smoothly. His willingness to help and positive attitude did not go unnoticed. We truly need more professionals like Víctor and Brian—people who actually listen, take action, and provide real solutions when patients are having issues. Their dedication made what could have been a frustrating experience turn into a very positive experience. Thank you!
