Grace Loves Lace - New York

My mom, sister and I travelled to Grace Loves Lace New York all the way from Toronto to get the wedding dress that my sister had been eyeing for a while. Upon arrival at our GLL appointment, the ladies greeted us with champagne and gave us a tour of the space. Our stylist and the woman who was in training at the time were INCREDIBLE (I forget their names as our appointment was all the way back in November 2018, but I hope they read this and know who they are). My sister tried on the dress she had been wanting for months and unfortunately it didn't fit her style, it just wasn't "her". After my sister was bummed about the dress, our stylist reminded us that there was still so many options and she went off and picked out a few options that she thought my sister would love... and she did amazing! One of the stylists picks ended up being the one my sister fell in love with. The whole appointment was just seamless, so easy and we didn't have to stress about anything. Thank you to the incredible people at GLL New York!

From the moment I made my appointment, she was incredibly warm and welcoming, and she made me feel so comfortable. She took the time to understand my vision and helped guide me through every step of the process, making the entire experience feel so personalized. When it came to selecting the perfect dress, Samantha went above and beyond! She listened to my preferences, offered thoughtful suggestions, and never rushed me. I never felt pressured and truly felt like she was invested in helping me find the dress that made me feel my absolute best. Cannot say enough good things about Grace Loves Lace! We went to 3 different bridal shops in NYC and the experience at GLL was far and away the best. Their new location is so cute and welcoming, the fitting rooms are spacious, and we were treated with sparkling wine and rose tea upon arrival. My stylist Samantha was the absolute best! She was so kind and informative, matched our vibe instantly and made us feel like family. I feel so lucky to have said yes to my dress here :)

From the moment my party and I walked in we felt very welcome and excited to shop for my wedding dress. Elizabeth asked me questions about my style and vibe of our wedding and really cared about finding my dream dress. I would definitely recommend going to Grace Loves Lace if you’re a bride in search of the perfect dress and experience!

Grace Loves Lace was one of the most stressful parts of my wedding planning. I’m grateful I only purchased a veil rather than my dress. The issue was primarily with the Australia-based customer service team. Based on the photos I took during my appointment, I’m pretty sure the veil I was shipped was not the one I tried on, but because it was marked final sale, resolving the issue was very difficult. After over a week of back-and-forth and delays due to the time difference, an exchange was finally offered but too late for my wedding timeline and with an added return shipping cost ($45). I ultimately paid $200 for a veil that did not match my dress and then had to accept a used showroom piece despite paying for a new one. While the NYC staff were kind and helpful once Australia let them do an exchange, the overall customer service experience was not what I expected from a wedding vendor. I would caution brides about relying on Grace Loves Lace for such an important purchase. In response to their feedback: They should have agreed to exchange the veil right away. Failing to do that caused so many delays that I got stuck with the used veil. There was no partial refund offered for having to take an off the shelf veil and overall they have not been apologetic for all the stress this caused.

I cannot speak more highly of my experience at Grace loves lace. I was lucky enough to work with Gabi who made the whole experience even more perfect than I could imagine. She worked with what I like, what I didn't, but had the knowledge to throw in a wild card that ended up being my favorite- and one that I had originally glossed right over. She was so warm and welcoming, not just to me but to my family who came with. I wish I could continue to experience dress shopping there every weekend! I ended up trying on dresses on at 4 stores in total and my time with Gabi was the most enjoyable and memorable. In the end, I wound up choosing a different dress from another boutique, but Gabi remained supportive throughout. Thanks Grace loves lace!

Seth is an absolute gem at Grace Loves Lace! He was super attentive to me during the entire appointment and knew exactly the vision I was going for. Loved how personable but also how professional he was. The space was also incredibly beautiful and pristine. And the gowns are just gorgeous!

I loved working with Vale at Grace Loved Lace! He had a good sense right away of what dress styles might suit my body shape and interests. Plus , he helped take photos for me even though I had others with me. The store itself was also so nice to be in. Very warm and welcoming with huge mirrors! They provided me with a pair of shoes to wear with the dress to help me get a true idea of what the dress might look like. The dresses here are so gorgeous, light, and comfortable!

I booked an appointment here to try on some wedding dresses and Seth called me before the appointment to go over my preferred dresses and to get ideas from me about the style I had in mind. He was warm and friendly and I really appreciated that the outreach ahead of the appointment would make the appointment more efficient and curated. At the appointment itself, Seth offered my friends and me tea or champagne and he immediately got to work answering questions and pulling dresses. He was just as warm and friendly in person as he helped me into the dresses and explained the various details of each piece. He was very professional and provided the details of each favorite dress via email after the appointment and checked in a few days later to get my thoughts. Although I didn't end up going with a dress from Graceloveslace, Seth was very gracious about it and wished me luck on the wedding. Highly recommend Graceloveslace and Seth!
